I know full well that a lot of folks would love to be DB Members, but for whatever reason cannot spare the funds. I'm sure quite a few of those folks turn to the "Dark Side of the Net" for their DB fix, but not everyone. At the same time I have seen my Members donate Memberships time and again to folks who wish to be legal Members but have fallen on hard times.

I've set up this page to connect people in need with people who want to help out. If you (or someone you know) sincerely want to become a DB Member, but have a good reason why you cannot afford it, share your story below (Facebook account required). When I receive a tip from a Member or other generous art-lover, it will go into a fund which I will then use to offer free 1-year Memberships for each $20 in tips that I receive to those whom my Members and I feel truly deserve it.

How is this decided? In some cases I will make the decision myself, in others I will ask my Members for input.
