Look up the word "sarcasm" in the dictionary and then, with that newfound knowledge, reread my post. Lighten up, man. |

You guys pressing for updates are funny. What do you do when dinner is 5 minutes late; wet your diaper and throw a tantrum? One year subscriptions cost $15. Even if there are only two updates per month, you are paying $0.60/wallpaper. What else can you buy for 60 cents? A fifth of a gallon of gas? 3 nuggets from Wendy's (assuming that you are paying off the dollar menu)? And you are essentially complaining about 60 cents for some of the best computer art in the world. There are also hundreds of other images in other galleries on here. How often do you feel the need to change the background on your computer? Probably an unhealthy amount, if you can't wait 2 weeks for a new image. |

Yes, I know that the suspense is killing me. I anxiously check this almost every day once it's about time for a new work to go up. It is a little disappointing when it's been so long between. Do what it takes to make it good though. I would agree that I'd rather have one that looks good rather than one that looks like there wasn't a lot of time put into it. |

I would rather wait for good art you're happy with than something that you feel was rushed. So please, take your time...it's always worth it!! (Besides, I like suspense) |

I had thought the render would only take a day or two, but it is taking far longer than I had anticipated. There's something strange about how Vue d'Esprit renders both subsurface scattering and radiosity. It would have been done days ago if I weren't using this combo, but I think the effect is important... Hopefully the image will be worth the wait! |

Hey there Ryan, still waiting a day or two, or four, for the new piece. Waiting anxiously. |

Braden, I send them a 4800 x 3000 file while creates a wonderful "Huge" sized print. I have a number of these hanging in my home and everyone thinks they cost a heck of a lot more than they did (I usually choose the "Bronze" media option). I, personally, wouldn't go as big as "Colossal" though. They sent me a Colossal print of one of my images and I didn't think it looked as sharp as the "Huge" size. Just my personal preference. I didn't see artifacts, they just didn't look as sharp as I would prefer. Hope this helps! |

I didn't feel like digging for the various accents, but have you ever considered hooking up with fotoflot ("photo float")? A lot of your work would look REAL nice in a "floating," frameless display. http://fotoflot.com/ They're partnered with Smugmug, which is who I use for all of my digital photo needs ($30/yr for unlimited bandwidth and storage can't be beat!) I haven't purchased a fotoflot yet but your art would be a thing that could push me over the edge if you worked with them. I want more than a standard poster or framed canvas... |

What sort of resolution are you rendering at? Do you know what DPI Zazzle uses for the various sizes? Are your "poster renderings" targeted for the "colossal" size, or do you shoot for a smaller size and they just blow it up? I guess what I'm really asking here: if I order a colossal poster, am I going to be disappointed by scaling/dithering artifacts, or do they have you render something at a sufficiently high resolution that they can print at a decent DPI for the size? |

I thought I might find a 2008 DB wall calendar listed with the prints, but was unsuccessful. Does such a creature exist, or is one planned at all? I'd very much enjoy having one in my office. |

Amazing artwork!! Do you have a source where one might get your images on clothing - tee shirts, sweatshirts etc? Also, mugs would be great too because they are relatively inexpensive, practical and decorative at the same time. Keep up the great work! Thanks. |

Did you ever think about adding some animation to "Song of the Sky." Having the aurora borealis move or shift colors. I think that would look very impressive! Just a thought:) |
