Mr.Wizard |
Ignore my last comment - the zune previews the images wrong way around but when you use the image as a wallpaper it's the right way around |

I had to rotate all of the pictures counterclockwise to get them to display right in my Zune |

Great job, thank you very much Ryan. Expecially here in Europe, most phones have a 240x320 screen resolution. The backgrounds are really beautiful! Carry on, very good work! Roberto |

Ryan I would like to thank you for making the mobile wallpapers... they look so amazing on my blackberry! |
||
Ryan |
Your efforts never cease to amaze, Ryan! Thanks for putting up all of these mobile device resolutions. I just got a brand new phone 2 days ago and can't wait to get these as the background. Keep up the great work. Travis |

Happy Birthday Jason! |

Ryan |
I've found the problem and the 320 x 320 resolutions should work now. Sorry about that! |
||
Ryan |
Are you have problems with one image in particular or all of them? |
||
Blizzard |
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try to see the Palm resolution, it's not letting me. I go into the drop-down menu and click on it and it brings me nowhere. It's working with all of the other resolutions though... Otherwise, congrats on everything else and thanks for the other resolutions! |

Jason turned 2? Wow. So fast. And I was like, "well, if Jason is 2, how old must Ian be now?" Then I looked at the archive and saw that Ian will turn 5 this summer. Amazing. Maybe one day these two Princes of Digital Art will "overthrow" the King (in terms of talent and achievement :) My best wishes of health and happiness to your family... |

I'd like to request more PSP wallpapers, which are 480x272. The last update to the zip file was in '05, I believe. :} |

YAY! Some Digital Blasphemy love for my Zune! Ryan, Thank you for making this collection. |

I've got a Blackberry Pearl, and this is perfect. Thank you! |

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! |

You, sir, are The Man. I just got a BlackBerry Curve a couple of weeks ago and I've more than once thought "Man, I should resize some of Ryan's wallpapers to fit this screen." This rocks. I've got Haiku on my Curve right now. :-D |

Think we could get images appropriate for use on Treos? The latest model (and some of the older ones) are 320x320. There are also 320x240 and 240x240 models, but 320x320 would be great. =] |

Yes! Thank you! Now my Blackberry is all coolified! |

Ryan hi, Thanks for responding. I understand what you mean. I guess I will just have to do them myself... (Do you have any suggestions for a good Theme Creater? And do you know how to create Themes with both Landscape and Portrait views?) thx. Eyal |
||
Celith |
Since you asked about other resolutions, I'll chime in here in favor of QVGA as well. A lot of PDAs and PPC Phones use that. And combined with the existing 320x240 ones you have up already, I'd have versions for both portrait and landscape on my slider. And as always, thanks for all your hard work! |

Where do you find the time! I am, as always, impressed. |

My phone (a Motorola ROKR Z6) uses that resolution, and so do some other phones I've seen around the office (some Nokias) Seems to me it's becoming a sort of standard for regular phones? Since none of the resolutions matched my own, I took the iPhone wallpapers and resized them using Phatch. They look great. |
||
Ryan |
I stopped doing PocketPC themes because I had to design a theme (color scheme) to go with each image. I would rather just post images and let the user design and upload the themes. |
||
Woody |
Believe it or not, I had been using the thumbnail versions from the gallery on my BlackBerry for the longest time (cause I'm pretty much sporting a DB image on every device I own, LoL) Good to see you'll be cranking them out in the native BB resolution! |
||
Eyal H |
Great thinking Ryan. What about some more Pocket PC themes? There has been only 38 for very long time now. thx. Eyal. |

I would like some for my nuvi 260W. Has a widescreen display with a resolution of 480x272. Had to scale and crop images to get them to fit at this point. Very annoying and kind of ruins the overall effect originally intended. |
||
Kyle |
Make that 240x320 |
||

I love the idea Ryan. I have an LG VX8700 and my required resolution for the wallpapers to look at their optimal level would be 240x274. If you ever get around to it, it would be greatly appreciated. |

Now I can have your images on my Moto Q too! Thanks for the convenient "download pack." To Scot: use the 1920x1200 widescreen versions. I also have a 1680x1050 monitor (Samsung), and I use either the 1920x1200 or 2560x1600. For your edification, 1920x1080 is for HD 16:9 monitors, 1600x1200 is for the old 4:3 monitors, and 1920x1200 is for widescreen 16:10 monitors like yours. |
||
Scot |
Now i'm not sure whether this was just for cell phone resolutions or not but i'm using a IMac 20" and the resolution for my screen is 1680x1050 and the closest thing you have is 1600x1200 or 1920x1080. I was just wondering whether you could make one that actually fits the resolution. The 16x12 is too tall and too narrow leaving small black strips on the edge of the screen. Now most of the time i resolve by going to the 1080 b/c height wise it fits well but width i'm missing a lot. I'm not sure whether others like me are out there but pics that would fit the screen would be great. But if there is not enough people then 1920x1080 works fine. Any who love your work, you do a wonderful job with these, thanks :) |

You took over my computer now you have taken over my phone ohhhh where would I be without digital blasphemy. You save me money on gas because these da*n images are so great I stare at them and don't go anywhere! Thanks! ;-) |

Ryan, Thank you for going the extra mile and adding so much more value to such a cheap membership! I've been (poorly) cropping and resizing your images for my Blackberry 8830 since I purchased it back in December, but now I won't need to. Despite their small size, the artistry shines through showing the thoughtfulness you've applied to showcase your art in the miniature. Thanks again! Mark |
||
Blizzard |
I really appreciate your work on getting these resolutions posted! I can't think of any other artists that would think of doing this. Not to mention, I'm getting a new smartphone in a few weeks and now I'll be able to have DB on it. |
||
Jason |
This is fantastic. My blackberry will now be DB branded :) I've been using a version of Octahedron that I cropped myself for weeks, but having all of them (plus the new ones) is awesome. Many thanks! |
||
Ethan |
Thanks so much for taking the time to provide these resolutions. I looking forward to using these on my Blackberry 8830! |
||

I really like both the day and night versions! They came out awesome on my brand new 24-inch widescreen display. My daughter just asked, "Gee, a twilight version of this one would be really cool - does he take requests?" Never hurts to ask... :) |
||
Gabriel |
Ryan, I have to admit that not many authors would go through the trouble to present images in so many different resolutions. I've usually been one to resize to my needs, but I find this very convenient. I myself have an iPhone I love and the images make great backdrops. I really just want to say that I appreciate the effort and lengths you go to, to be able to present images for your subscribers desires. And if no one has thanked you yet, then I shout a big "Thank You" from myself and on behalf of all of us who use the different sizes. ;) Bravo! - Gabriel |
||
Braden |
Did you simply re-render at a smaller size, or have you changed the viewpoint / FOV on some of these to work with the small screen better? |
||
klaxxin |
Since you're doing cell phone wallpapers, I'd like to request 240 x 276. It's the resolution for the LG Chocolate Verizon phone. Not sure how popular the phone is. Thanks |
