You don't think it's the contest's name change, do you? I don't see why that would be -- perhaps it's not getting the same exposure without "Minecraft" in the competition title? It's the only thing I can think of; the last two years the contest generated a lot of interest and action.

We're all eagerly awaiting those amazing creations in this year's Sandbox Challenge (formerly the Minecraft Challenge). Since this challenge is the only way to score a lifetime membership, I thought there'd be lots of entries by now. Maybe it's just me, but I thought last year people entered their works of art faster than this. ???
