My computers and archive drives got stolen. Took me months to find your site again, because I had nothing to go on but "3D" and "Members Only." Still I just had to replace my collection of your work and see the new stuff. Succeeded tonight and signed up for a year. Then the logins came up so often that I would have given up if it were anyone else. Heck, I don't pay even for porn but here I am determined to see your stuff and it's treating me like I've crossed the tripwire on a Preview Tour. At work we have super secure intranet and internet sites, but we also have a little chunk of server that the public can access. Would you mind putting the 10 freebies on that kind of partition for awhile with a selection of the collection, just until the combined site is ready to go, I would be ever so grateful to enjoy your work once again without the equivalent of an alarm clock going off every time I turn around. Fortunately, Firefox at least recalls the password. Truth be told, I bet less public access will sell more memberships. After seeing the public stuff, I just had to become a member because I was so tantalized by those secret "Members Only" libraries back then. And I'm so glad I did. |

Hi Ryan, I am a big fan, as well as an IT Consultant. Your work is extraordinary, and therefore you should have it protected from would be hackers. When you setup the new site I suggest you create it with https:// If you hadn't thought of it already. Todays internet has just too many hackers, and having your site setup securely, would keep everyone's, username & password eyncrypted, protecting your work from those who would seek to covet it under nafarious means. Kind Regards! |

Hey Ryan! Love the site; I rarely pay for anything downloadable (too much legitimately free stuff available), but THIS place is a MAJOR exception to that "rule." So much of your work just literally takes my breath away.... Anyway, I'd love to be able to filter results by resolution, as I'm running an older laptop with a fixed resolution of 1024 x 768, and having a filter show me ONLY those images that fit that description would be so much faster than opening each one up, and dropping the menu down to see if it's there. Ain't gonna let the lack stop me, tho, that's for sure!! Karl Bristol, NH |

I have been a member for many years and anticipate continuting to do so. However, I use Linux and Solaris (on sparc), not windows. And while I don't know whether that has anything to do with it, for whatever reason the new layout is substantially SLOWER than the old one in displaying and in downloading (on Linux and Solaris although not on windows 7) and I do not care for it for that reason. I still love the site and your art, but the layout of the website is a real downer to me. |

Keep working. We like you stuff. GREAT art! Glad we can be a part of what you're doing. Any way we can help? |

Is there anyway to see beyond the top 10 for all and the categories? Such as the Planetscapes which are the ones I dig the most. I love Phraxis which I used on my laptop and would like to see more, heheh. Why isn't that rated higher? /boggle Perhaps search is what I'm looking for and I see in a comment on the 8th that it was temporarily removed. It would be cool to select the top 10 and have it page to the next top 10 (11-20) and so on (21-30.) Thanks for all the hard work, keep it up! |

I have been a lifetime member for quite some time, and am intrested to see what the new site will bring. Keep up the great work Ryan. I am also glad that you have 1920×1080. I use them as the backgrounds for my PS3 system. Will you still have the images sorted by year later like they were before? I found that useful when trying to find an image from several years back. Thanks for all your hard work. |

I took the old search system offline for some repairs. The new site (still in development) should have a much more robust search. For now I only want links to the things the work and the search was broken on the new server. I'm hoping that once Google has a chance to index the new site I can just throw in a Google Site Search which will work even better than my old homespun version. |

Leighann says, "... the search function tells me that ..." What search function? I've been looking everywhere for the search box that the old DB site had, but I've yet to find it. Will there be one, or is it just hiding somewhere that my thick brain can't discover? |

The problems I was having this morning are resolved. Thanks Ryan! |

The "login" link should disappear, or change its text, or become unclickable, or something to indicate you're already logged in. At first I thought it wasn't working, since after logging in I still had the option to log in. I had to test it by downloading a high-res image. Not a big deal at all, but some visual feedback of being logged in would be nice. =) |

Log-in seems to be working correctly for me. Great job, Ryan! Chris Spera |

i to get redirected to the signup page. |

I'm with one of the others below that get redirected to the signup page when trying to get the right resolution on an image. Halp! :) And the search function tells me that there are "0" images found when I type in the word Christmas. |

It's working for me now. Weird. |

Free users can't possibly complain about the free samples now. Most of those are in the all time top 10. |

well i loged in in this morning (Monday) all seems fine and working! besides these things can take a while to be working in that sweet spot so.. is normal to have some issues! Keep it up Ryan! Cheers! |

I can "login" and it says "great, continue!", but then when I try to get a better resolution, it then takes me to the sign up page... |

when you scroll down on an image, there is the pickle jar link. It takes you to the image but at the bottom where all of the other stuff should be "ratings etc" it says: [an error occurred while processing this directive] Also, any way to have a link somewhere letting you know there is a picklejar image? |
||
Spoolaroo |
When I try to access the PickleJar directory from the "gallery" dropdown menu, it sends me to an error page. It works fine though, using the gallery dropdown, if I'm already browsing a gallery. |

I'm liking the performance of the new server. I can browse the site like never before! Awesome. |

Hey Ryan, So far this new site is looking great! I was just wondering out of curiosity, is the final site going to be more of an update or a complete overhaul? I like the site the way it is, but the idea of a completely new site is also exciting. It really doesn't matter to me either way, but I was just curious :) |
||
Ryan |
I've added a "login" link to the side menu. After you've logged in you will be redirected back to the home page and you can continue browsing. You will remain logged in until you close your browser window. |

No place to log in that I can tell. mc |

Ryan, I understand - no criticism was implied - just was adding my .02 :) I do like the free area - much more enticing to new users than before - and I would not hesitate to join seeing it.. so I think you're accomplishing part of your original goal. Everything is a work in progress.. I'm glad I'm a lifetime member so I'll be around for (hopefully) a long while to experience the changes. :) |

Yes, I know there are tradeoffs but I felt the ever lengthening list of resolutions was taking up too much space for each image. The dropdown list seemed to work well for a number of other wallpaper sites so I decided to implement it here. Please remember that the current design is meant to be a place holder until my new site is well tested an in place. Nothing here is set in stone. |

Ryan - one comment on the new site design (and don't get me wrong - overall I like the new feel for the most part). When I go to an image, you now have the resolution popup - I understand what you're going for with a single merged site, but just for me personally, it's a lot more inconvenient to get to images now - before when you had the links next to the image was very simple to download the 3 or 4 resolutions I wanted (right click and go).. Now I have to select each res, load it then save it - not a big deal in the grand scheme of things I guess, but it is a lot more steps :) Keep up the awesome work. thanks! |

You are not an idiot. The site works a little differently now, since both Members and Non-Members are browsing the same gallery. Right now you only need to log in to download, leave comments, or rate an image. Since you've logged in to leave this comment you will not need to log in again which your browser window is open. You can browse, download, and leave feedback as you did before. When you return another day the log-in box will only pop up when you use a Members Only feature. let me know if any of this is unclear. Thanks for your patience! |

Just a heads-up from the 2560x1440 crowd. It looks like the 1440p images aren't showing on the image resolution menu. |
||
Ryan |
The fact that you can post here means that you are signed in. It sounds like you have Javascript turned off in your browser though because that would cause those links to stop working. Could you try activating JavaScript in your browser and see if it fixes the problem? I will explore some non-Javascript means for people to download their images. |
||

Submitting the "I Guess I'm An Idiot" comment made me sign in with a pop up window. How do I sign in without making a comment. I'm lost. |
||

I've been a member for years and cannot figure out how to log in since the new website. There is no "LOG IN" button or "members area". Sorry, I'm sure it's obvious, but I have not been able to log in. I'm going to go look some more. I must be missing something. |
||

For some reason, when I go to the non-member site (the regular www.digitalblasphemy.com) and click on an image, I try to select the resolution I want, but it doesn't give me the sign-in box. No matter what resolution I select, nothing happens. And I can't click on the "account info" link on the left to sign in. In fact, I can't find any obvious place to sign in... |
||

The twitter feed seems to be not loading on the main page, loaded fine in the free gallery, this is with Firefox on XP. |
||
Chris B |
You might want to think about getting rid of the window that pops up thanking you for your review & just let the new post show up at the bottom. It's kinda annoying to have to close the window, but it is better than before when you had to click back. |
||
Steve57 |
Clicking on the "picklejar" link in the gallery leads to a "link no longer exists" page. Is the picklejar going to be reinstalled as you continue to upgrade the site? |
||
Chris B |
I'll have to log off & see how the non-members one looks. :) |
||
Ryan |
I hope you all enjoy the new site. The comment is only a test... |
