Ryan, I came across your site a long time ago, maybe 2002. When I chose to get a membership, I remember thinking to myself, "Hey, I may forget this site in years to come only to remember it and want to return. I should get the lifetime for just this purpose." (this subsequently happened)
I bought the lifetime membership at the $99 price tag, and I'm glad that I did. Whatever price you choose to set it at, I'd still purchase it, if I didn't have it already. |

Is the lifetime renewal for members still $49? It says $60 for me. I didn't see where it went back up. |

I`m a fan of your site since I`ve found it coincidently in 2001.
I don`t know why I waited so long to get a lifetime membership (I got the 2005er-CD and always checked the Free Gallery for updates meanwhile), but now I`ve done it and I am very happy with that decission.
You do great work and some of your artworks make me speechless, really godlike stuff.
A Desktop without DB is a think I can`t even imagine any more.
Thank you very much and keep up the great work!

For years I renewed my annual subscription and finally bought a lifetime subscription a year or two ago for $99 (or whatever the old price was). It was a bargain at that price imo but times are tough and you may do better at the new price all-in-all.
Thanks for all the years of awesome desktops. I love having the lifetime subscription and look forward to seeing your work in the years to come. It was money well spent. |

Yeah, I'm that sort of person who never forget to pay the bills... but I started my year to year subscription as a Birthday gift for myself about 5 years ago. So, every year, I only remember that I should renew my subscription when the Members Gallery locks me out on login.
This year I got sick on my birthday's week and my vision was reduced to mere 10% to 15% on both eyes, so only last week I was able to see my computer screen again (thank God my vision is coming back!) and I came, again, to be blocked out of Members Gallery. When I saw the yearly price reduced I got hesitant: for $60 I could sign up for lifetime, only 4 years of renewals, a very good proposal... but was it good for Ryan?
I decided to make it so and also make sure that, from time to time, I should show my gratitude in by paying a "renewal".
So, Ryan, it's better to simply "donate" $15 now and then or could I really "renew" a year subscription, without loosing my 100 year "lifetime" subscription?
B.t.w., Thank You very much for sharing your talent in this wonderful and accessible way, making our desktops so beautiful with your artwork.
Sidenote: while I was partially blind, one of my concerns was to realize I would never see a piece of visual art again. That was a depressing thought. Now, seeing your work again on my desktop after 1 month of blurriness and darkness, I feel really blessed. Thank You from all my heart. |

I have taken your free wallpapers for years and have always wanted to become a member, but due to financial reasons have always inclined against becoming one. When I saw that you had dropped your price for a bit, I felt it was time for that membership!
Keep up the good work; I hope I can continue to enjoy your art for years to come.
Truly...your work is great. Keep it coming! |

Ryan,
Been coming to this site for 12 years (since 1997). I have probably gotten 50% of your pictures when you rotate them through the free gallery. I subscribe to the RSS feeds, so I know when you change them out. I have a program which rotates my background every 5 minutes on my 4th monitor .. which just brightens up my cube at work. Since the price went lower, I finally decided to become a member to get some of those pieces you never put in the free gallery :)
Just kidding .. I figured it was time to pay you back for all the art that I have "leeched" off you over the years. Take the family out for dinner on the $59 you just got :)

Ryan,
Your art is simply amazing. I have gotten a couple of years of membership, and once I FINALLY got out of debt was able to afford a lifetime membership. It was well worth every penny I would have spent, but I am glad you lowered the price. I would have paid the $99 anyways as your art and talent are outstanding. |

Wow, compared to Tay's once per year lifetime renewal, my recent yearly renewal seems puny and insufficient - a mere flyspeck on the windshield of Tay's generosity.
Anyway, I'm delighted to be a member. ;) |

You are definitely one of my biggest supporters Tay. Thanks so much from my whole family! |

Ryan, I have been blessed since 2000 with your work. I have followed your work and your growing family for those years. Both have been fun to watch. In these nine years I have given myself a birthday present every year by signing up for a lifetime renewal. I know this is not something everyone can do but I had always hoped I could contribute in some small way to your success. I guess in all those years Ryan I have been more impressed with your humility and grace than even the enormous talent you have and your commitment to excellence. Thank-you for your contribution to my entertainment this decade. |

I first came accross your site many many years ago. For such a long time I just scrounged the "scraps" from the free gallery.
Then I saw "Red and Gold". That is when I took out a one year subscription. I also took the opportunity to browse the rest of the collection.
To cut a long story shor'er' I saw the lifetime subcription was reduced and jumped at the chance.
Keep up the good work there are some fantastic images here. |

I love your work, especially planetscapes.
Your works grace my desktop on a rotating (every 5 minutes) basis.
My renewal runs out in December 2010. If there is no offer in place then I don't have any problems with renewing again, even with the US/Canada exchange rate. More funds for you this way too.
You are an artistic genius, one who comes along all too infrequently. |

I would love to have a lifetime membership but I like to think that by paying yearly (or every two years as it was last time) that I am giving you more money.
Your work inspires me to write, which is my hobby and will one day be my career. Such inspiration as you give me deserves continuous appreciation. |

Well after saving up I was able to get the lifetime membership. As I promised I will also donate every once in a while. Thanks Ryan. |

I have always wanted to purchase a lifetime membership (I've probably already paid one throughout the years I've been a member), but have never had the $99 at once. The $49 sounds magnificent, but I need to wait until at least next month... I'd love it if you kept the special offer around for a bit. |

I have always had a yearly membership and renewed when I was able to. With lifetime membership at $49 I will most likely get a life time access on my next subscription if the price stays the same.
My vote, keep @ $49. |

I have always been a big fan of your art since I started High School in '97 but could never afford the membership. Finally after all these years of just settling with the free galleries I get the opportunity to become a Lifetime member and you have no idea how happy I have become. It feels like a milestone to become a member of Digitalblasphemy and I appreciate the opportunity for this great experience and thank you once again. I cant wait to see what is in store for me now that I have full access! |

Just wanted to say;
a) thanks for the magnificent art; I haven't used anything else for wallpaper for more than a couple of days at a time since a friend showed me your site two years ago, and I bought my first membership.
b) although I just purchased the $49 lifetime membership, I plan on donating every year or so anyway, as you deserve to be rewarded for your efforts. Now, however, I don't have to worry about whether the US/Australian exchange rate is going to suck right when I need to renew! :)
Thanks again for sharing your brilliance with us, and keep up the great work! |

I don't have a problem paying yearly to support your artwork. I too worry if it's less advantageous for you to provide the lower price lifetime. I would gladly pay $99 for your lifetime. For now I'll keep renewing yearly. |

I've been leeching off of the free gallery for quite a few years ever since I came across
Fluorescence for the first time. Being a poor college student I never considered spending money on wallpapers... but I was always jealous of the member images. I graduated last May and now that I'm secure in my job & all, I was considering it more. When I saw that it was down to $59 I jumped on it. As my wife says, it's not how much you spend, it's how much you save... So I guess I saved $40 ;)
Ryan, you're stuff is amazing :) |

I'm glad you covered all the bases in payment options. I hope the 49$ option remains at least until I'm able to save up the money to pay up. It's good to hear your opinion in the matter. |
