First, this is awesome! Great transition from the first Misty Ridge.
Second, if you run multiple monitors at different resolutions, I’ve discovered an easy way to get the background set without stretching or warping.
I used to download the next size up and either crop out my triple monitor resolution from it, or let the graphics program resize it. It never looked right, but what I do now is let Firefox open it, right-click, ‘Set as Desktop Background’ and instead of ‘Tile’, use ‘Span’. This seems to have the best results. The monitors I’m running are 2-1080 displays with an ultrawide 21:9 in the middle, for a total resolution of 6400×1080.

I like the mist, and have always enjoyed when you return to this scene to experiment, but the colors seem a little too deliberately and regularly interspersed, and lack a full spectrum range.. a little too green, a little too red, a little too orange, if you get my meaning.
