I mentioned back when I posted "Autumn Cove" that I'd used Gaea to create a mountain scene but then left the mountaintop off when I framed my scene. Here is a much wider view of the scene.
To be honest, this isn't exactly the same mountain. I did a few tweaks in Gaea before zooming out. The trees are a bit different too than in "Autumn Cove", with less "non-Western" varieties. It's a bit less colorful but I think a bit more realistic.
I hope you like it! As the title suggests, I will be returning to this scene...

"Sundered Mountain"
Something about this reminds me of Mt. St. Helens. There is both power and beauty in this picture.

Finally you made very beautiful wallpaper without any cloud or fog. Often you get more atmosphere in the picture without clouds, only with a clear blue sky!

So...I love this one!!

"A welcome alternative"
This is a very welcome alternative to the grim grey rain filled sky outside of my french doors. The warming autumn tones have already changed my frown to a smile.

"So lifelike"
This reminds me very much of Sibley Peninsula in Ontario, just north of the boundary waters. Seen from afar, it's often called the Sleeping Giant.

My husband and I just finished driving ~3,500 miles from CA to AK (a questionable task at the end of September, but we actually had great weather for most of it), and your scene reminds me so much of our autumn drive through Canada! What a wonderful memento!

Another beautiful version of Bliss Peak and Valley! I would love to see a night version with a Distant-Shores like sky!

"A beauty!"
@Ryan Lovely! But could you add the dual-screen version that’s 2880 pixels deep, please? Thanks!

"Very Serenly Beautiful"
This is so peaceful!!! And although the mountain is different it really works in this render. Great job!!! Would love to see an Autumn and Winter render of Chisen, I think that render would be amazing in Autumn and Winter. Just a suggestion.

"New favourite!"
Immediately a new favourite as it reminds me a bit of Autumn Cliffs from 2005 (which was always special to me). Excellent work, Ryan!
