I was browsing social media and came across a livestream from the main developer of Gaea (a cool gentleman named Dax Pandhi). He was describing a technique for "warping" dunes around rocks and it looked like something I wanted to try for myself. In the background you will see some of my other attempts, but I decided to do something a bit more ambitious for the foreground. I'd done oases before but never viewed from the desert. I hope you enjoy it!

"Nice work with the oasis soil"
A lot of people forget that plants at an oasis bind the soil around it.

Nicely done, Sir.

This reminds me of that scene in the mummy returns where Dwayne Johnson played the scorpion king

"More like this!!"
As a desert dweller in the Southwest US, this speaks to me. I love it, and I'd love to see more like this!

"So Realistic!!!"
Wow I thought this was a real picture of a desert someplace. It's extremely realistic. Great Job

"My only suggestion"
There aren't palm trees normally around a desert oasis - more tall water loving trees and scrub. The desert itself should have a few cacti or Poi's out there just to give a bit more depth. I love the background and the Red Rocks of my state however - you nailed 'em!
