I also have to admit that when i saw the title for this piece, i immediately jumped to final fantasy and wondered if that was the inspiration. but then decided against it.

Now this is a sick ass wallpaper. Wish you had it in triple monitor. 7680x1600. I went all out on an eyefinity setup (3 monitors as one) and i LOVE your work. Keep it up. Hope to see this on three screens one day.

"My Favorite Winter Wallpaper"
This has been my favorite winter wallpaper ever since it first came out. I like the sense of cold and yet the movement of life. And I always love water in any of these wallpapers because I make my own icons and I have water-related ones like ducks and swans and fish. So I need somewhere to put them. :-)

I can't wait for Autumn or Summer to use this background! I try to use backgrounds that correspond with the time of year.

I would absolutely LOVE to see a winter version of this. Such a beautiful majestic view would look wonderful with snow everywhere. I know it would be tough having to make all the trees sticky (at least I would assume it would be... I don't know these programs at all), but dang that would be freakin sweet!

Just as dramatic. It's not like I prefer one over the other, but the other one I found a few years ago (need to find it again -- system crash and I lost the copy) that was oriented differently, and instead of a fire plume, it was more like a water and rock plume.

Has anyone seen that image, or something similar? I could have sworn it was a DB image, but I've checked the entire gallery and can't find it.

This is my favorite Christmas image you've done so far, and one of my favorites over all. Your Christmas tree pictures are beautiful, but there's something about this one that really speaks to me. I'd love a dual screen version, though I realize the demand is probably pretty low, and you have better things to do than revisit three year old images. :)

"Almost Perfect"
I love most of your interior stuff and I think they're a bit underrated, particularly this one. However, while the lake and rock walls are amazing, I think the figure detracts a lot from the picture, not because it's a figure, but because it's quality is so obviously lower then it's surroundings. At 1920X1200, it looks almost like an animated figure, which is in stark contrast to the exquisitely detailed cave.

"I noticed something different from the day version"
Hey Ryan,

I noticed a small difference (at least with the 1920x1080 version) with the day version of Endless Blue. It seems that the peak of those monolithic rocks (whatever you call them) is a little off from those of the day version, it's really just a couple of pixels, but I was wondering whether this was intentional or just a sight crop error?!

It's really unnoticeable, but once you see it, it cannot be unseen :-( and it drives me madddddd!!!! :-)

Thank in advance for your response (hopefully :-D) and keep up the good work! :-D
