I just wanted to say that I love your work, and have enjoyed your art since I was in high school in 1999. I am glad that you're still creating amazing wallpapers for my boring desktops.

Ryan, For years, your artwork has been the slideshow background on my 55" Sony TV. My PC is hooked directly to the TV and acts as our Entertainment center. The TV we've had was a Sony 1080p model and your artwork looked great! We just upgraded to a Samsung 4k UHD QLED TV and I upgraded the PC video card at the same time. I downloaded the 2560x1440 zip file and loaded it up in the slideshow.

Seriously, avoid these people like the plague. They're ripoff artists that have no intention of fulfilling your order. I sent in an order via Digital Blasphemy for several masks. They sent a few of the several I ordered and have refused to send the rest. They give me the run around by either not letting me know what's going on or apologizing but never fulfilling the order. I got royally screwed.

I was introduced to your work by a colleague in 1999. #since then the words "Digital Blasphemy" have tripped off my tongue, every time someone mentioned desktop art. I always meant to join and finally got my wallet out! I hope to enjoy your excellent work for many more years to come.

Recently had issues with my membership. I missed a renewal and created a new one, but couldn't log in. Sent an email requesting assistance and Ryan himself replied in less than 15 mins (this was around 9pm CDT) After a couple of back and forth emails, he got me back in! <3 This guy just solved a login/acct membership problem that has been annoying me for a month and a half. I cannot say enough good things about how fantastic his artwork is! I originally heard about this site from an Apple Genius in Atlanta, waaaay back in the day. (late 90s/early 00s) His art winds up on all my computers and phones at some point.

I just recently finished my 3 monitor setup and after a bunch of hunting around I found some decent, but wholly underwhelming wallpapers. I'm not usually much of a 'joiner' online but I find Ryan's work to be truly worth the price of admission on any level you may choose. His work is very impressive and fits exactly what I had been looking for. They flow beautifully from one monitor to the next and with several of them on a 30min rotation it's an ever-changing visual treat. Stuck in a office working shift work nothing brightens things up than custom wallpaper on your laptop or computer even then your up to your armpits in reports, You could always have a bit of a daydream going to some of these locations.

Ryan, your work is top-notch -- your images are in my desktop/lock screen slideshow rotation almost to the exclusion of the other images in my collection (there are a few I get here and there, but your collection is the most consistent). I can't precisely remember when I decided to become a lifetime member (2004-2007 sometime), but I know that I was inspired after discovering your images through some desktop themes in the *IX world, and thinking, "man, I gotta get me some more of this!".



I think the original Borealis and Conjunctions were the first ones I saw [themes for WindowMaker].



If you ever get an itch to subject some of the classic coin-op video games (1977-1983 (Defender, Asteroids, Tempest, Pac-Man, etc.)), or perhaps Firefly or Star Wars, to your touch (if you are not prevented from doing so by Der Korporatstaten), I would love to see the results, but make no mistake: Your site is my first go-to site for wallpapers. "Borealis' and 'Conjunction', later the infamous 'Fluorescence' were the first pieces that were 'glued' to the screen ;-) wow, time flies. screens and computers and laptops came and went, but I've never looked at anything else but your awesome work since 1998. I discovered the profound art created by Ryan. As soon as it was possible, I became a member. I have used many in my messages while I was teaching. By blending the artwork with some word art, i can make any theme even more powerful than just my own thoughts can convey. Different things help different thinkers learn. I discovered digital blasphemy many years ago and Ryan's art work has captivated me ever since (especially his holiday pieces). I spent years waiting for the latest and greatest in the free gallery as I was to young to legally work and money was precious at that age but I owe Ryan many thanks for his work as he inadvertently inspired me to create my own works and while they may not be beautiful wallpapers like I originally wanted, my work in web design and database administration started with a copy of Photoshop CS2. More people than I can count have seen my laptop in various places and said "wow, where did you get the wallpaper?" It never stops being fun to browse all the beautiful images. Ryan's work inspires me and brightens my day. I have several images I get lost in when I'm having an art-block. Most times, his work fixes said art-block. His work likewise inspires me to create interesting items in the Second Life virtual world.

I found out about Digital Blasphemy back in the late 90's/early 2000 when I was in college. I totally loved Ryan work and displayed it on my computer. I downloaded his free images for a long time. Then around 2006 I bought a lifetime membership and spent a ton of time, I still had dial up service, downloading everything from the site. I haven't used any other background for the last 5 years on both my work and home computers. I love his style and variety. I don't know where or how he comes up with his ideas but they are always amazing. Thank you Ryan for all that you do.

I have been a member here for several years. It's been well worth the modest yearly dues. The talent and time that Ryan devotes to each picture make them into works of art by any measure. These pictures have brought beauty and a different perspective to my computers and now my phones, and for that I am grateful.

A few years ago I was looking around the Firefox Personas themes and "Summerwood" was definitely one of the coolest ones there was. Eventually I checked out the "digitalblasphemy.com" website advertised with the persona and got hooked on the awesome planetscapes in the free samples section that add just a touch of fantasy to otherwise realistic pictures. I finally decided to get a membership a few days ago, and now I have a different wallpaper from this site for each of the nine workspaces on my computer (and one more for my phone)--well done, and thanks for the great pictures!

You are a genius. I've never been much for art in general, have never paid attention to classical or mainstream artists. Art just never moved me; until I saw your site, your work. Some of your peices just take my breath away: your art helps me see from a new perspective.

I have been using the images from this site since 2000! I found this site via a friend's suggestion back in high school. Ever since, every computer, tablet or phone I have owned has had a DB background and not because I have some weird affliction but because they just look awesome! I have been a paying member for 3 years now and will continue since I love my 2 monitor and custom resolutions! I do want to put in a suggestion. I work in a law enforcement dispatch and they allow us to modify the background. We have a 4 monitor side by side 1440x900 setup. Ryan's art is gorgeous. The images inspire me to write better fantasy and sci-fi. The lifetime membership is a steal. Digital Blasphemy artwork adorns my work laptop, my Mac, and my iPhone, and my Kindle and iPhone both have DB skins from DecalGirl.

Having a membership/access to the digital blasphemy library is a must. For the price you get way more than you pay for and knowing I'm helping support such a talented artist makes it even better. Thank you for what you do and that lifetime membership is next on my list.

... but I subscribe to DB pretty much every year, and since it's a manual subscription, not auto-rolling, it means I do it because I like Ryan's work, and I have done since the late 90s. I use these wallpapers on every device I have: Kindle, phones, work and home laptops and PCs because, quite frankly, they're gorgeous.

In 1999 on the RISC OS 4 CD there was a series of images included for backdrop use.



They came from this place called digitalblasphemy.com - they were amazing then and they still are now.

I originally found him in 1999 and continued to check in with for free backgrounds for a while. In 2011 I became a full paying member. It was worth it. His work is amazing, and all of the pickjar variations are fun. It's great to get updated wallpapers, but I still go back to older ones because the art stands the test of time.

Back when I was first getting to know the internet, I stumbled across Digital Blasphemy when computer wallpapers were becoming more than just photos of people we knew or crude 3D drawings. There was some real imagination going on with DB, and I was hooked after seeing Ryan's style. I subscribed every so often as finances would allow, finally getting up to a lifetime membership. If you're serious about good wallpapers, especially on large or multimonitor setups, you won't regret signing up with DB. His latest work is truly stunning, and it's great seeing that he continues to grow, both artistically and technologically - his PCs probably get more upgrades than yours, and the results are staggering.

I paid by the year for ages thinking for some reason I would get tired of things maybe or that the updates my cease. It is easy to see the iterations of quality in his work as hardware and software has improved over the years but one thing that has always been constant is the content. That has always been him and it has been exemplary from day one. 'Dispersion' is the best wallpaper I have ever seen. The colors are enigmatic and the design simplistic beauty. It captures the imagination and does not fail to awe. I never have to worry about viruses, Trojan horses, worms, etc.. I can't get enough of this site.

I'd been using free wallpapers from DB for a while when I received my first computer way back in high school and in college a friend saw that I used them and gave me a one year gift membership. I'm happy to say I finally have a lifetime membership! Your work is beautiful and I love using it at home and at work- it always gets commented on!

I recently upgraded to a pair of 2560x1440 monitors. I was complaining to a friend at work that I couldn’t find any good 5120x1440 wallpapers and he told me to check Digital Blasphemy out. I was blown away by the quality and had purchased my membership within 10 minutes. I sent my wallpapers to rotate every 30 minutes so I can enjoy them all. Keep up the fantastic work.

I've been leeching free samples from Digital Blasphemy for the last 15 (?) years, so starting a 2-year membership was long overdue. The choice ranges from just good (a few) to amazing (most), a most impressive collection of computer art I've seen yet. Hard to believe it is a work of a single person. And there seems to be a story behind many of the images.



One tiny wish: if the logo could be placed a bit closer to the screen edge, and its brightness matched with the general tint of the image, it would become less obtrusive.

The funny thing is that, in this new media age, you are among the first to truly establish an independent digital legacy that is forever growing and changing and being shared in the ether. I love this site. I stumbled on it (possibly literally, from StumbleUpon) several years ago and have had it in my favourites ever since. The images are stunning, skillful, and clever in a way no other site I've seen has ever approached.

I finally figured out when I first became a fan of your work! I was looking through the archives and found "Dome of the Blue Seeress". I think this was your newest wallpaper at the time, and I saw it and was instantly smitten with your work. That was in 2002, so I would have been... Holy crap. I was 12. Anyway, your work later inspired my love for photography and photo editing (which I do in my free time), because that was as close as I could get to what you do. I'm so glad you've kept it up. Just wanted you to know what an inspiration you and your work are.

There are many artists out there that will use almost any medium known to man in order to bring their ideas to life. Ryan is literally one of a kind when it comes to wallpapers. He turned something that was generally overlooked into some of the most jaw dropping content I've seen. You can tell that he has a fun time being as creative as possible and has tons of wallpapers that can appeal to anyone. I think it is great that he does not charge much for complete access to all of his content so everyone can have a chance to enjoy his work. I bought the lifetime membership and I have not once been disappointed by anything he has created. Its good to see that you took my advice and mentioned that you could turn the animated wallpapers into some stunning and awesome screensavers. I am the one that sent you copies of the animated screensavers made from your animated wallpapers to show you what could be done. I have been in every state of the union and you would be amazed at the requests I get to tell them where they can get this animated screensaver, and I always refer them right back here. Now is there any way to make more of the animated wallpapers? the ones that are there have been there a while and while beautiful, you need to add more to them.

I joined your site back in 1998 when dial up at 56k was pretty much the best connection you could get around here. Since then, you have made some amazing pictures. Honestly, you have an amzing gift for color and three dimensional perspectives. The degree to which you can make tiny square pixels look absolutely stunning borders on sheer wizardry. :)

These are the best wallpapers and art that I have seen online. It is consistant and always pleases. This is my second yearly subscription and will now make sure I do every year. The sides always look stretched and out of aspect ratio. There's strange pixilization and off color objects throughout. Its a terrible stretch on all the triple monitor wallpapers. In the future I'd like to see DB creating Triple Monitor Resolution walls and scaling them down to single monitor not vice-versa. The Multi Monitor gallerys I'd rate a High 4/10. Poor way to stretch the wall.

I first heard of DB from a friend who is big into CG art about nine years ago. He recommended I check it out and I have loved it since.

All of his work is incredible and very inspiring. As a story writer, I like to visualize certain regions and his work affects my story writing in a big way. There were some stories that were written because of a work the Mr. DB did.

First I discovered DB some 6 or 7 years ago. From that time, till present day, DB wallpapers are present on all computers and phones I owned and still own. And will probably always be there.

It's I don't know how many years later. A full decade maybe...longer I believe. I bought a lifetime membership back in the 90s. Out of every single thing I've ever spent money on that is related to computers over 30 years....DB has been by FAR the best purchase I have ever made. When I was a child I would imagine other worlds which were very distant from our reality. I stumbled upon Ryan's website one day and saw what I imagined as a child. Ever since then I have been a member....This is SciFi/Fantasy. Keep up the excellent work Ryan....and bless your family.

I have been a member for a long time and found this site by accident joined up to the free site first, But latter signed up for lifetime membership due to the quality of the art work. And as well as offering all diffrent size and res for diffrent screens the addition for mobile phones is a great so now whats on the desk top can be on my iPhone which i just purchased. All the people at work asked about the wallpaper i put them on to this site and many of them joined up.

I first saw Ryan's work when I was searching for images to help give visuals for a story I wrote. The image I found was entitled "Cabal" and was exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Enthralled by the image, I began clicking the "random image" button to see what else I could find. Needless to say, my mind was blown clear into a new universe by the beautiful landscapes, wizardry, and other images that can't be described so easily.



So, after several months of surviving on the 'freebies' alone, I couldn't wait any more and signed up for a membership. It was more than worth it. I downloaded all the .zip files immediately, and constantly have it on a cycle in my background. They provide scenery for every story I write, and my characters often step into the shoes of the wizards that I see performing their spellcraft on my screen.

I just bought a larger monitor today! I've been using a 15.6" laptop for at least 5 years now.. Upgraded to a newer processor and PC with a 22" LED monitor. I gotta tell ya, your work is even more amazing that I thought after 13 or 14 years.. I'm seeing things now that I never noticed before.. And the more I look, the more amazed I am!! My boyfriend just gave me this lifetime membership as an early Christmas gift tonight and I can't be any more thrilled, I'm literally doing a "happy dance" and not the dance where you sit in your chair, I danced around the room while clapping... and I almost choked him when I hugged him. I have always loved your wallpaper on my systems and laptops, and last night I had a totally new appreciation experience.



Our oldest had gifted us with a 42" flat panel tele and a media center PC, and my youngest delights herself in taking many (sometiems embarrasing) photos of friends, family, dog poo, etc. and placing them into the slide show feature of media center.



Last night I decided enough was enough and cleaned all that stuff out, and thought it would be nice to see your wallpapers on my new big screen. I downloaded the last three years of images, in the larger HDTV format, setup a slide show and...



...sat mesmerized for the next 54 minutes as I saw your artwork in all new detail and in all of it's breathlessness. It is truly a different experience to get up close and have to move my head around to see the whole image.

I guess I have been a fan of Ryan’s work ever since a friend of mine showed the render of “Frio� back in 99. I didn’t know who had made it, I asked my friend but he didn’t know either. I guess back then Ryan didn’t watermark his creations with the digitalblasphemy.com logo.



Anyways that particular wallpaper remained on my desktop for about 2 years, I think (I honestly can’t remember how long it was), until another friend gave me a disk with some programs he thought might interest me, he had also burnt on the disk several wallpapers, the two that I particularly remember by name were “Red Sky at Night� and “Adrift�.



The first time I saw them, I thought that those were the most beautiful 3D renderings I had ever seen, thankfully these did have Ryan’s signature watermark. So I went straight to the website and started browsing through the galleries. I a little bummed when I found out that you had to pay to be granted full access (I was only in high school back then and didn’t have a job) but I was happy none the less with the free gallery. So every month there after I waited patiently for new material to be available on the free site.



Years passed I moved to the States and went to college (oh yeah, guess I forgot to mention I am from Costa Rica), and still, every computer I ever owned had one of Ryan’s creations as a wallpaper. It was at this time I started delving into the world of computer-generated imagery in my free time, and I’m sure I’m not the first and probably won’t be the last to tell Ryan that he was the one that really inspired me to create my own 3D renditions. I finally graduated and found a job in IT with a small company and I have been there ever since.



I just recently got a new workstation with a 2 monitor display setup. I searched everywhere for decent multi-display wallpapers but couldn’t find anything worth much, so I finally decided to become a member and boy am I kicking myself in the butt right now for not joining earlier. The free site is really just the tip of the iceberg, there is so much more available for subscribers.



Anyways I know that I have probably gone overboard with this testimonial, just one last word for those of you that were like me, if you are still browsing the free gallery don’t hesitate to join the fee that you pay is well worth what you get, besides that, you will be supporting a truly great artist.

Everyone is commenting on the quality of Ryan's work, to which I say "Ditto!" -- it is amazing. But this morning I confirmed the quality of his attitude and service as well. I e-mailed the Support address about a minor glitch I experienced on the Member's site, expecting to get a reply Monday morning at the earliest. Within 15 minutes, Ryan had replied with my answer. He had taken time out from Saturday morning activities with his kids (which, when my kids were young, was a sacred time) to cheerfully get me the information I needed. Thanks again, Ryan!

Are you a humongantic fan of the free images? I was, until I got a membership. These images are 10/10 and most are much, much better than the free images, especially the new ones! I hope you realize that Ryan (Mr. Digital Blasphemy) makes a living out of these pictures, so they MUST be good!

My husband found this site several years back, I want to say almost at its inception and we have come to love it very much. We became members several years ago because we didn't want to be left out of anything that was being done here.



In fact, and here's where my question comes in. I fell in love with the "Thetis moon" one that's at night rising over the beach. That's the one that really took me in. It reminded me of the very end of a New Zealand movie that came out in 1985 called "The Quiet Earth". I've been impressed with Ryan's wallpapers for quite some time now, and eventually decided to subscribe. I must say, it was well worth it! I work quite a few hours on the computer each week, and it's always relaxing to have a good wallpaper behind all my application windows. I came across this website one day back in 1999. There were so many other sites that offered backgrounds but none like this. At first glance these backgrounds look like photographs and many of my friends think that they are initially. When I tell them that they are computer generated they are stunned at how beautifully created and realistic they look. The site is never dull and new backgrounds are added on a regular basis. Ryan takes advice from his members and tries to work their suggestions into his work. For me, this was love at first sight. Since that fateful day in '99 I have never gone anywhere else for my backgrounds.

I've been an admirer of this site for a few years, visiting every now and then and adding a new desktop from the free gallery. After so long, I thought it was about time I did the right thing and subscribed.



I'm an enthusiastic photographer, and one of the things that always strikes me about the works on this site is the strength of their composition. It's marvellous. That, and the small features of interest - like a small figure in the foreground - that go towards making the work so incredible.



If I could create works like this, than I would call myself an artist. For all of us, please, keep creating!

I first found the site in my first year of teaching, almost ten yuears ago. I was given a notebook by my school and the installed wallpapers were unimpressive. I started with the free gallery and cycled through a new paper each day. Last year I jumped straight to the lifetime membership and the kids in my class love to see what I have on my desktop when they get in each morning. They are still amazed by the range of wallpapers. We have a sea theme at school at the moment and some of the work they are coming up with has been inspired by what they have seen on my computer. They best subscrition I have ever signed up for.

AS an illustrator myself, I can only say that the membership was probably the best money I've spent in awhile. Terrific work, perfectly filed and set up for use, in every configuration I needed.

As a silent and anonymous fan of Ryan Bliss for the past 11 years, I feel I owe him some comments!



Ryan was literally the primary reason I took up 3d modeling and rendering as a hobby. His artwork has inspired me in such a way since then that I continue the futile goal of attempting to match it. He has stayed on the cutting edge of artistic tools while still finding time to strike such inspiring balances in his peices. As a user of many of the same tools (Vue, Bryce, Poser, Lightwave/Maya, etc...) his work never fails to impress me. Some peices I can't help but to analyze the HOW, never to really know.



Thank you Ryan for providing cutting edge art that makes everyone that comes by my cubicle at work or to my home, awe at my (well... technically your) backgrounds. The DB artwork keeps me sane! I spend 10 hours a day doing stupid "computer stuff" and having the DB artwork to view as I switch back & forth from the desktop is incredibly relaxing. Do you think you could compile all your Halloween work in a single library? It's getting to be that time of year and I'm in the mood for Halloween images!

I can't recall exactly when I ran across the artwork of Ryan Bliss, but I was immediately impressed and not long after I found the DB website and paid for a lifetime subscription. Being an art major myself how could I not support him? I feel he does top notch work with many awe inspiring visuals that I'd love to see many enjoy. So please, do yourself a favor and take a look.

I have long ago started getting the free wallpapers from here along with a few other sites. I have watched as the wallpapers here have gotten better and better; the other sites have remained about the same quality. Another big plus is that I run a dual-screen setup and there were VERY few sites that supplied good wallpapers that I could use. Digitalblasphemy.com not only has a huge selection for dual-screens but also triple-screens. Just today I have finally signed up for a membership... no need to start small, $99 granted me as many wallpapers as I could use FOR LIFE. I will literaly get the rest of my wallpapers from here. Thank you Ryan for making my desktop a thing to be proud of.

I am a returning member after a long hiatus due to life issues. I have always loved Ryan's work on my desktop. It is not only stunning for somebody walking by, but I like to choose one that is meditative as I work on on a PC every day. Can't wait to try some on my HDTV. I did stop by now and then for the freebies, but knowing what's 'behind the curtain' I knew I'd become a member again. I've been in awe of the free gallery since the site went up, even inspired me to use digital art as my AP Art Portfolio back in 2002 in HS, and I got a copy of Bryce and Lightwave to experiment on.



I bought a lifetime membership last year, and I was literally knocked out of my computer chair once I saw all the renders and even the pickle jars.



My only qualm with the site is there's a trend of less new renders, but then again the quality has pretty much quadrupled since 2002, so I can only imagine how long it would take to finish one. Perhaps once more people become members Ryan can get more machines to do more work at once?



In conclusion, I will most likely re-new my lifetime subscription when it expires in another 98 years, I can only imagine what type of render's we will have by then.

I have been visiting the site since my freshman year in college (2001). I didn't become a full member until last year, but never the less I have fully enjoyed Ryan's works of art for the last 7 years. My friends and family always comment on the wonderful wallpapers I have downloaded from your site and I very much enjoy seeing what Ryan can come up with next. Keep up the wonderful work and I hope to see more awesome holiday scenes later this year.

I have been a member of Digital Blasphemy for many years now and have a lifetime membership, the best money ever spent. This digital art is second to none and Ryan offers continuous development of new work, his website is in an easy to use format and regularly updated. He also has a great selection of merchandise for sale at excellent prices as well as good site links and information. More people should become lifetime members due to value for money for the product they get. Well done Ryan keep up the great work.

For many years since first finding this web site i bought 2 cds and made the plunge to become a life time member, everybody comments at work about the pictures as backgrounds on the laptop even some of them signed up to yearly members.

You might get other pictures on the net but you realy see the time and work put into all the images you see here so its worth paying for this art work and also some of the art work reminds me of my trips to Fiji,Thailand and Japan which was a dream vacation sometimes seeing some of the images i wish i was back there instead of being stick in a office at work.

Sure, there are hundreds of thousands of wallpaper websites that you could visit. Yes, some of those sites have some stunning wallpapers. A few will even let you download some high-res 'papers for free, or at least for a small fee. But the breakdown is this: 99% of those websites are company/corporation owned, exploit many budding artists (or exploit artists that should have been established, but have been kept in some company's pocket), and charge you money for nothing more than glorified eye candy.



Digital Blasphemy is owned by one man, Ryan Bliss. Ryan is the one who produces every wallpaper offered on the site, excepting the images showcased in the User Gallery which helps raise awareness of other artists' work. His full-time job is to make awe-inspiring and fantastic images to grace our otherwise boring computer screens. This is what he does for a living, but that's not the main reason to think about a membership. When you visit wallpaper websites, you're going to a website with pretty pictures. When you come to Digital Blasphemy, you've come into an art gallery.



Ryan doesn't make wallpapers. He makes art.



So, support an artist; it's worth it!

What an amazing visual experience you've given all of us who enjoy your art. Stating the obvious, you have exceptional talent and paying $25 per year is one of the best bargains on the net. Anyone who is not a member is missing out on more than they know.



I do software support in the creative services field and always get comments from the designers on my laptop's screens. Of course I steer them to your site but not until I'm through working with them. Otherwise, they would pay me no attention at all.

I'd been browsing the free gallery since 2000 and it was always on my plans to be a member sometime, I was trying to get a lifetime membership but couldn't because of my economic situation(80 bucks a week doesn't cut it). A month ago I was able to get a debit card and then tried to get the 99 bucks for the lifetime membership, I couldn't get the money but got the 25 bucks for the yearly one... I'm speechless, this is worth every cent I spent on my membership. I will certainly try to get the lifetime membership next year. This is like a literal dream come true. Thanks to the artist of this site, this is an awesome experience for me.

I have been looking for wallpapers for my tri-monitor setup (4850x1200) for ages, now I am not going to say there aren't any other webpages out there, but they are with far lesser quality backgrounds, and none come close to this.



The price is very fair even if you only like 10 out of the many many pictures here.



The format of the page is fantastic, where they give you almost every option and resolution you could hope for.



All I can say is go ahead and take the plunge and even if it is for the 90 days membership, you will not be disappointed. They come out with new ones fairly quickly.

I absolutely love Ryan's landscapes. Whenever I feel overwhelmed I just clear my desktop and let my mind wander in the beauty. This has saved my sanity so many times. Also good when I need extra creativity.



People always comment on my desktop background, and I'm proud to point them to DB. I also have several prints hung around the house, and everyone mistakes the prints for photographs.

At first the idea of what I thought was going to be another pay for pics site was not real appealing. I got the 90 day membership first to try it out and was stunned. The work on this site is amazing and when the 90 days are up my next step will definetly be a lifetime membership.

10 years getting my desktops from DB and you've never let me down. This is beautiful artwork that looks fantastic on any monitor, in any setting - work or leisure. Proud to be a life member!

Since I joined DB in April I have downloaded the latest zip file to my home computer.

Using my IMAC linked through a HDMI connection to my Sharp Aquos LCD HD TV, I cycle these wonderful pictures through my screen saver. Put on some nice internet radio, have the small waterscape running and sip some wine. Perfect.

Hello, I have been coming to your site for MANY years. I always looked at the free gallery and top tens when they were free. I never really felt the need to join up until i got a dual monitor set up at a high resolution. Today i was looking around the web for images that were 3840x1200 and couldn't find ANYTHING even close to the quality of the images here.



So after years of lurking as an observer I have joined up and its one of the best purchases I have made online.

I have recently become a member. I am in love with the artwork here. It was worth every penny. Every piece looks fantastice on my new iMac.

You will not find any walpaper that even comes close to what you can find on DB. I discovered DB in college and ever since it's the only wallpaper I'll use, at home and espcially at work. Now matter how I'm feeling at work (Property Claims Adjuster) I can look at Ryan's wallpapers and be transported to somewhere else. I purchased a one year membership and when it came time to renew I knew I wouldn't find a better deal or better product so I purchased a lifetime membership.

I am a member and I have "Island Time" on my widescreen monitor at work. I went to Hawaii last October. When some of my co-workers walk in my cube and see this wallpaper, they ask me if this is one of the pictures I took in Hawaii. 'Nuff said.

I could not believe these wallpapers the first time I saw them. They looked so life-like that it confused even my co-workers. You will not find better wallpapers than this and that offer it for the many screen sizes and monitors you have. These are the only wallpapers I will use on my computers. :)

Been a long time leecher, and, i admit, looking for ths artwork is less then legal ways. But i've always believed that if, and when, you like something, you should buy it. I've also been a strong believer of "try before you buy." The free gallaries here are great for that reason. But when I finally had the money to spare, I went ahead and got a year membership. It's only been a week or two.. but I think, already, I have made the a great buy. Normally one would just hit up DA, or the assorted artist sites to get quality walls. But it's always great to support artists. Keep your ear dude. ;)

I discovered Ryan and his amazing work almost from the beginning. Fortress was the first image that I saw of his and I had to go look at the rest of his site after that. I don't think that very many days have gone by since then without a DB background on my computers. I finally subscribed about four years ago as I wanted access to the newer images, not just the ones for free. I have never regreted that decision and I never even consider not renewing every year. You need to do this for your mental well-being. Many times when things get hectic, I just imagine that I am where ever the background is that I have at the time and things get back on a more even keel.

Having been an admirer of this website for many years, I decided it was finally time to go beyond pilfering the free gallery and enjoy all that the site has to offer. To finally have access to the incredible art-work is well worth the small membership fee. The only thing I have to say is that I wish I would have done this a lot sooner!!

Greatest desktop backgrounds ever!

I first heard of Digital Blasphemy back in 2001 from my brother who had been using the free wallpapers. I really liked Ryan's artwork and I too started using his free images on my home desktop and at any computer I used. Then in 2002 I purchased a membership and have been a member ever since! The members wallpapers are worth every penny spent year after year for my personal enjoyment at my home and work computers. The quality of artwork created is just 'the' best out there on the internet, hands down. Plus the variety also keeps it interesting, he makes such a wide span of art from landscapes day and night, to outerspace themes to abstract art which tickles your mind and imagination. It's always enjoyable! I've been renewing annually and my membership was just up this week and I decided to renew for 2 years! (new option) It was a no-brainer! I always give Ryan a little extra bonus as a token of my appreciation for his talents. It's not much but I know he deserves it.

A friend of mine turned me onto this site back in 2000 with the famous glowing blue mushrooms, and then we used the free wallpapers for years. 2 years ago my wife bought a membership for $25 and I was kind of mad at first because things are always very tight but it's ended up being well worth it and we renewed for the 2008 year.



I also like the idea that this contributes to someone being able to do what they love to do which is a rare thing.

I have been using the free wallpapers available on this site for some time now. It seems that every time I go looking for something nice I end up going to this site first. So I figured it is about time I buy a membership and pay for what I get enjoyment out of and to "of course" gain access to the entire site. What really sold me is the reasonable fee of $25.00 dollars to join and then only $15.00 per year to renew.I should have done this years ago. All I ask for from a product I purchase is to perform as advertised. This site does that and does it very well.

I signed for Ryan's artwork almost a year ago now, and it was worth every penny.

As I have watched the new pieces of work become available over the past year, I can honestly say that over the short time Ive been a member I have seen the quality of the work continually improve over time.

This is not to say that all of the older artwork on the site is of poor quality, becuase as I look at past works I am still very impressed; however, with the advances in technology in the past decade or so, the new levels of depth that can be added (and have) are spectacular.

Polished, classy, finished products are a lost art form in the Internet era, but DB brings that touch of class back. DB has the only wallpapers I'm not ashamed to have on my desktop; instead everyone is always in awe of the artwork. Nothing is cheesy or cartoonish; all are worth framing.



The membership is well worth it. I downloaded a bunch of backgrounds and turned them into a screensaver -- using Windows' photos screensaver -- because I couldn't settle on one.



I know just enough about software to be in total awe of what Ryan can do with a computer. I'm sure you might think, "I could do that if I had thousands of dollars in software and a powerful computer." No you couldn't. It takes a lot of skill and effort to create these images.



Support this website if you think these images fill a void no other site does.

It must have been back in the late 90's that I was working at a company and saw an amazing wallpaper (Gotham) on one person's PC and the words Digital Blasphemy in the corner. I immediately went and looked up the website and have been a fan ever since.



In a world full of woes, these images take you somewhere far away and give you a moment to escape.

The sight is definitely worth a second glance, Wisdom and perception are two alike, and both will be found in this site. I used to just check this out for the top ten, but now that i have membership it seems that each vision is a top ten. Sign on, you wont regret it.

I have been a member for several years now and I don't regret it one bit! There are two main benefits: 1) You get more wallpapers to download and 2) Even on the free site, you can download higher resolution wallpapers.



Yes, you can get a lot of wallpapers for free, but it's only $25 for the first year and you get a discounted renewal. I, for one, think it's well-worth it to be a member.



Also, you don't have to worry about annoying pop-up ads like you see on other wallpaper sites, so come on, help the artist make a living!

My personal favorites are the landscapes and images with fog/clouds as well as diffused light coming through trees. There are plenty of what I most like, as well as many images of planets and tropical scenes. There are also some that fit in the more mystical/spiritual variety as well as plain old abstract.



Anyway, if you like the work in the free gallery you won't be sorry be coming a member as the images inside are even more vivid and exceptional.

Ever since I got desktop backgrounds from him this site when they were free until now paid for a lifetime membership. I have been amazed at his work. Every background belongs in a museum in a gallery. Many hours are spent on them im sure and lots of effort as well. Running a triple monitor setup at 3840x1024, wallpapers are hard to come by searching randomly on google and deviant art. I love the support digitalblasphemy gives me. I have Dual Widescreens, and can never decide on which picture I am in the mood for. So I came up with a solution! There is a program out there called DisplayFusion. (Google it!) It allows wallpapers to span multiple monitors in Windows. The pay version also allows backgrounds to change on a timer! So every 30 mins... I get a one of my wallpapers that I have saved from DigitalBlasphemy. This is awesome and allows us to support another small software developer with software that works Perfectly with DigitalBlasphemy!

I have now after several years upgraded to a lifetime membership as I believe the images that Ryan creates are masterful and original and beautiful. I've been using wallpapers from the free section of Digital Blasphemy for years. After becoming a member I've realized that the free section was just the tip of the iceburg. The prices are very fair and you never have to worry if the wallpaper will fit your screen because there are different resolution options as well as wide, dual, and even tri-screen downloads. And I've never found more beautiful and detailed wallpapers than I have at digitalblasphemy.com

I was introduced to this site by a friend. Like so many others, I used the free site for a while then I bought a lifetime membership (do the math) so I could access all of the files. This is one of the most creative sites around, I don't get malware or pop-ups and I don't get spammed. What more could you want?

I was shown this website by a computer lab attendant back in 2000. Almost 8 years later...I now have had a membership for 2 years..and Wow. There are SOOO many images and they all are top quality. For a while, I just went through all the old images and changed my desktop background every 2 days. Now, DB decorates all of my desktops, both of my servers, and my laptops...each with their own theme. Ryan...your work is amazing, and I will always be a member of this site!!!

I first visited this site in 1999. I used the free gallery for years to decorate my desktop. Recently I purchased a membership. The work is amazing. Well worth the price of the membership. I think I may buy a lifetime membership when this one runs out.

My brother first showed me the free gallery back in 2000. I used those images for my desktop for awhile, then got a regular membership, and then got the lifetime membership. For nearly eight years now, DB has almost exclusively decorated my desktop. The DB membership is absolutely worth it.



My favorite comment (one that motivated me to get the membership) was when a friend would see my desktop wallpaper and ask where I took the photo (typical for nature images). That was back in 2000, and the images have come a long long way since. I loved to point out that it was not a photo, but computer-rendered art, and if they liked it where they could find more.



I always eagerly await the next image, and though not every image is my favorite, I am always amazed. If a new one is not my style, there's always a previous favorite I can pull from the member gallery. But most often, the new image becomes my favored background at least until the next appears.

You are my number one wallpapers source. The competition is fierce, and you are well on top, by a good margin. I got hooked by your "Red Sky", and come regularly for my dose of wonders.

Its a real bonus that the dollar is so poor against the pound at present as i signed u for my membership for next to nothing compared to what the images are wourt.

I personally consider and always referred to "Ryan Bliss" as a world class digital artist, and one of the best if not the best on the web today. I have been a loyal admirer of his work from the start back in 1997, and have been sharing his journey of imagination throughout the last few years, a journey that has been nothing less than inspirational and fulfilling.

If there is one thing i can say about this site and its owner, is that through the years i have followed this site (before it was even at this address and had membership options) one thing i have consistently noticed, is the very high quality, and ingenuity i see in every one of Ryan's creations.



I haven't seen one thing he has made that wasn't "Ad-least" worthy of being on my system, and the vast majority of the time i can and will say you wont find any better quality backgrounds "or Artwork for that matter" anyplace on the internet.

If you are like me, a person who spends a great deal of time in front of two monitors then Digital Blasphemy is the utopia scape route to release stress in some of the greatest images ever created.

I am a lifetime member of Digital Blasphemy for over a year now, and every few days or so, at work, I call my colleagues over to show them my new wallpaper and get the same chorus of oohs and aahs everytime.



Between Haiku, Indian Summer and some of the other more recent works, I don't know how Ryan will make the future works better, but I'm sure he'll do it and every single wallpaper that he makes will be on my desktop at least for a day!

I just picked up a new 24" iMac a couple of weeks and was looking for some nice wallpaper to show off the screen.



I'd heard of Digital Blasphemy before and was a regular consumer of the free galleries.



I decided to buy a membership so I could get the widescreen wallpapers for my machine and I gotta say the membership is worth it.



Ryan is a talented individual and his wallpapers are off the hook. As a musician myself, I know what it is to make your livelihood in the arts. It's a tough road sometimes and it can also be rewarding to see your own creations take on a life of their own.

After 6 years of using DB images on every computer I ever worked on, I got a year membership. Now, with DB wallpapers on the computers of every family member and roommate, the influence is spreading. My father, a particle physicist, was amused and delighted by science-looking accelerators and glowing cores, while my roommates have been more impressed by organic abstracts or spacescapes. The guys I play D&D with enjoy the summonings and castings, since they illustrate in glowing images what we have only words to describe. A few more nudges, and maybe I can get more members to join and have fun finding their own images.



Generally, as a poor college student, I like free stuff, but as a poor art student, I understand the idea of paying someone for good work so they can continue to produce it. And this is well worth the small expense. If you are considering getting a membership, do it. Ryan's work is worth every penny.

I have been a fan of Ryan's work for many years, and have been a member for three years or so now. I pretty much exclusively use Digital Blasphemy artwork for my desktop backgrounds. Short of creating my own pictures, alot of what's out there is too commercial or boring, and photographs just don't let you take full advantage of the graphical and creative power of the PC. These truly are the most stunning wallpapers around. I've been an avid viewer of the free images for 6 years now and just a few months ago I got a lifetime membership. Worth every penny! Not only do you get the full collection of images, but the resolution options for dual-widescreen and tri-screen are just incredible!

I had been looking at DB for quite a while, eagerly awaiting the next free image - and don't get me wrong, they're good - but you don't knwo what you're missing... I decided to join purely to support Ryan as I though he did such a great job, but now I am a member all I can say is; Ryans new work with new software is just mindblowing, and I mean it! The realism and the energy is truly astounding. Plus you feel like you're a part of the work when you leave a comment and this that something needs changing, the chances are two days later it's been done! You won't regret paying the small fee to join DB, I know don't!

Really they are amazing, althought there aren't alot of them regulary. But are still very good :) well done.

I have so many beautiful wallpapers now I hardly know what to put on my desktop. Every wallpaper is available in multiple resolutions and some even in dual-screen and tri-screen. The wallpapers are organized by year and category so you can find exactly what you are looking for. For only $25, you get unlimited image downloads for a whole year and there are reduced renewal rates after that. Definitely a good deal.

This is a wonderful way to support an artist directly. In the age where there is backlash against monolithic media companies selling mediocre content, a better model is to buy directly from artists. db is a way to do just that.

I found one of your wallpapers on a school computer once and couldn't seam to get it out of my mind. As time passed I found the windows wallpapers annoying.



Memory of that one wallpaper brought me back and I got a trial membership and went nuts downloading everything!



I didn't renew my membership then and used the different ones I already had but soon they started to get old.



I upgraded to dual monitors and then the problem of what wallpaper to use started to become an issue. So I will start making some of my own thinking how hard could it be? I tried some mac style images, but they could never match the quality I found here.



About a month or so ago I renewed my membership in time for displacement and some of the other great wallpapers and all I can say is it was worth it then and it's worth it now!



I think every new wallpaper comes in Dual and Tri monitor formats which is great for me and bad... Why bad... Simple I want to start using the Tri montior wallpapers! I guess dual monitors is only the beginning....



Don't let a few buck stand in the way of some of the best wallpapers out there give it a try! One warning tho... I'm not responsable for any addictions to great wallpapers!

Having recently set up dual monitor systems at work AND at home, I've been scouring the web for cool wallpapers for both desktops. I have a found a few decent ones that would fit the screens however there never seemed to be very many.



I stumbled upon this site doing a google search and after seeing only a small handful of images, I decided it was WELL worth the price of a year's membership! I switch my desktop images about once a week so I can enjoy them all over time!

Having been a regular visitor for many years (since well before your impressive rant at AOL compression routines butchering your images) I think i've just about exhausted the free images and decided to dig deep in my long pockets (short arms are a blessing in disguise) to support you financially.



Worth every last cent!



I'm now dual-screening and intend to purchase a third monitor to benefit fully from your impressive array of tri-screen images.

I have also been a member for a few years or so and it is worth every penny for the beautiful and different artwork being done...I see where everyone keeps saying that they use only these pieces of artwork as their background, but as a member you get to download all the previous artworks and I have set them up as my screen saver also. There are so many different pieces that there have been several times when I come back to the computer that I see a new picture or one that I forgot about...and it is always a pleasant surprise.

For years I've been coming to the Digital Blasphemy website and admiring the artwork because it is so amazing and nothing else I've seen on the internet (or anywhere else) could compare. I became a member several years ago because I wanted to support the person behind the artwork so that he may continue to provide the world with such outstanding and creative endeavors and so that others might see and enjoy it as well. I use almost nothing but Digital Blasphemy on my laptop and my desktop. Truly outstandingly beautiful backgrounds!

I have been a memeber on this site for 7 years now (8 this November). When ever I put up a new image at work EVERYONE want's a copy. Sadly, I cannot share the images I pay for. But I do recommend that those that want them, come to the site and buy a memebership.



These are simply the BEST background images on the net. And I have looked for others and no one even comes close to this kind of quality.



Sure, there are other backgrounds out there, but they are either way to "busy" to the point of distraction, or they simply lack the quality you find here. Some poeple just want to "bang out" images as fast as they can, and you can tell. Here, that is not the story. Every image reflects the time taken to get them just right.



I will continue to support this website with my membership for remainder of my years above ground!

Don't just browse the free galleries. Contribute as a member if you can. Every artist needs patrons. When you purchase a DB membership you enable & encourage the artist to continue.

DB is the only website I have ever paid to see, and it's a site I've been a member of for going on 10 years now. I can't see any reason why I'd ever stop - the artwork gets more creative, more colorful, more fantastic and more gorgeous every year.

I have been a member of this site now since october of 2006. I am so glad that I became a member. I was introduced to this site about 2 years ago, and now am realizing, that this is one of the only few sites that actually have dual/tri screen images, dual widescreen, and every other size you can imagine. No other site is this obsessed with quality. The images you can get in the free section do not compare to all the images that I now have access to. I will continue to support digitalblasphemy.com until it goes down. (hopefully not anytime soon.)

The collection of backgrounds alone found on Digital Blasphemy has no comparison. The quality and diveristy of the imagery found here is worth 10X the price. I'd say there's no better value on the web and that doesn't even include the Pocket PC themes, animations, and other stuff. I've been a member for 2 years running.

I've been a member of this site for a number of years and have ordered 6 editions of the Digital Blasphemy CD during that time. I believe that these are some of the best images available on the web and it's been a worthwile investment to encourage the continued creation of new images. Yes, I know that there are TONS of sites available where you can download some very high quality desktop wallpapers. But I believe that Ryan's work has been consistently among the very best and his continued growth as a artist and creator has been interesting to watch. As a long-time computer user, I harken back to the days of shareware programs like PC-Write and Procomm. Quality work is worth investing in and I think I'm doing that by supporting Digital Blasphemy.

When I first happened upon this website I was very impressed with the images that I saw. They are very creative and full of detail. I especially love the planet themed wallpaper. And the newest image "Dispersion" is really beautifull, I just love your use of color with this one! I look forward to seeing what images you create next!

Those are the words I hear after a friend visits this site at my suggestion. I've been a regular here since the site was first available to the public and a member for years. Those catch words and many more are quite true... As transfer rates, PCs, and Resolutions have grown, so has this gifted artist with ever increasing size and definition and now.... animations! Not tiny little ones either, these are state of the industry fast and well, cool. (Can you imagine the time it takes to put such an animation together?)

If a Lifetime Membership is still offered, I highly suggest it. It was offered in 1999/2000 then disappeared. I saw it offered in 2006 and jumped on it.

I have to tell all that I have visted this site for years and years (at least five) and always used the free wallpapers.



Last month I sent an email to Ryan and within 30 minutes he had answered it and others, this is service way beyond what I expected. Ryan answered my question and as I had promised in my email, I purchased a membership! I guarantee that this membership will never expire as I use his work on my home & work laptops and now my iPhone.



It is the most beautiful, dedicated, moving work that I have ever seen and I change it monthly based on how I feel or the seasons or the holidays. Ryan has created something here for everyone and I can almost say it is spiritual!

After using some of the free backgrounds I decided to become a member, as soon I was registered i picked out 24 background images and after half an hour of painstaking trial and error background managed to set my desktop to change image on the hour every hour with images suited to that time of day.

100% worth the effort to use these brilliant images on my desktop.

I've been a DB Member for More than 4 years, I have every wallpaper and I even have several in Artwork form on my walls. (From the Zazzle Pages) The Lifetime Membership was worth the price!

i have been a free member for a year and a half now and tonight i just bought a 1 month membership because i remember looking at the small versions of pictures and sayin "man i wish i had those" so now i have it YAY

I used to browse the free galleries of Digital Blasphemy on a weekly basis in the hopes of finding a new wallpaper. Now that I'm a member, I drop in at least once daily. I haven't once regretted becoming a member, I only regret that I can't currently afford to become a lifetime member.



Ryan puts out quality work quite regularly, and is amazing about listening to both critiques and applause. It is not at all uncommon for him to release two or three variations of the same image in order to make the masses happy.



I definitely feel like a subscription to DB is well worth the cost of admission.

Although I became a member just recently, I have been visiting this site since 99. By far, Ryan produces new renders more frequently than any other site on the WEB. I like this site so much that it's my home page. I especially look forward to the nite scenery renders.

The pickle jar is priceless. The alternate versions of the wallpapers are sometimes better than the ones posted. Buy a membership if for nothing but the pickle jar!

As a gamer, I'm exposed to many alien worlds and magical lands. Much of the time I'm inclined to just look around, explore, and think how cool it would be to visit such places. Mr. Bliss can condense such daydreaming into one image, and his images have been on my desktop for over four years now. Great work, well worth supporting.

My wife and I had been members a few years ago but we let it expire as we were in a very tight budget and had to cut expenses wherever we could. Now that we are both in comfortable jobs and with one car paid off (and the other 4 months away) we decided to sign up again when we found out there were some animated wallpapers now.



And with the new one month $9.95 option it makes it budget friendly for those people going through what we did those years ago =)

I use a high-res widescreen monitor (both at home and at work) and I change my wallpaper once a week or so. At that rate I have over 3 and a third years worth of wallpapers to choose from. Each one a stunning masterpiece.



Another way to look at it: At the price of a lifetime membership, and at the current total of 175 widescreen selections, you are paying less than 57 cents per image. That is an incredibly cheap price for the time and effort (not to mention skill) that goes into each one.

I started going to Digital Blasphemy as a senior in High School back in 1999. Back then, I lived on the free work and was always amazed by the quality of art that Ryan created. I quickly became a full member during college, and I have never looked back.

I have been visiting here for years. Looking through the free galleries and downloading what was available. They have adorned my desktop for years. I've been with this site almost since the beginning. Ryan consistently produces high quality images time and time again. My personal favorites are the landscapes and frankly, I use nothing but Ryan's images for my backgrounds on all of my computers. Everyone that sees my landscape backgrounds assumes it is a real picture at first glance and are surprised it is generated!



There is nothing else out there that compares in quality to his landscape images. If you are considering a membership for the first time, even the lifetime membership is worth the price since you get access to every member image Ryan has ever created. It is literally hundreds (probably thousands) of quality images for your personal use.

Someday I hope to publish a work of fiction. If I ever accomplish this lifelong dream, it will be due in part to the beautiful digital artwork created by Ryan Bliss. When I feel myself starved for inspiration, I know I can come here to catch a glimpse of beauty, strangeness, and otherworldly wonders. I cannot look at these images without the stirrings of imagination awakening within me. I shall be blessed if someday I create with words what Ryan Bliss can already do with his artistic talent.

I've seen many sites for regular backgrounds and a lot are good, but none of them even compares to the multi-monitor selection on this site. I'm sure you've heard about how amazing all of Ryan's backgrounds are, but they're even better on more than one screen. Well worth the membership fee :)

Whereas I no longer have an iPhone (I took mine back. Nice web browser, albeit slow, but it sucks as a phone. Requires two hands to use.), I'd rather see you make resolutions at 240x320 to fit on Windows Mobile PDAs. Don't need a Pocket PC theme, just the clip. I guess I can crop your 320x480's down.
