Oasia Time-of-Day Sequence

When Rob Jonson (developer of the Mac app "Multimonitor Wallpaper") contacted me about integrating my work into his app, he also mentioned another app he was working on that leverages the new "dynamic wallpaper" abilities of MacOS. He wanted to know if I could render a series of images at different times of day.

Normally I only make a day and a night version but he said I would need at least three to make it work. I went ahead and did the five variations below and if I make more I will add them here.

Rob was good enough to compile the Oasia series into a set of dynamic wallpapers for the MacOS. Members will eventually be able to access them directly through MMW but for now you can download them here. These dynamic sets all use my 5K images as a base so they should fit most screens.

  • Single Screen (39MB)
  • Dualscreen (69MB)
  • Triscreen (92MB)

Windows Users: I was made aware of a program called WinDynamicDesktop (Windows Store) that will mimic the MacOS Dynamic Wallpaper capabilities. You can easily create the sequences of images (minimum of two, day and night) here. For my part I will look at possibly automating the process and offering these for download in the future.
