Night vs. Day



I'm an old desert rat and love both. I suspect that a few months ago when stepping into the shade was a luxury and standing out at night watching the stars was a delight I'd have preferred night. Now, autumn, with chilly mornings and crystal-clear daytime skies with all the colors of the hills and mountains in full display day is winning.



They're both lovely. Nice to not have to choose.

In a rare reversal, I think the single screen versions are the pick (!), having the hills in the background and the sky / moon overhead. I Like both, but prefer the night version - as somone else has said, it seems to capture the feel of a clear desert night.

Have you ever thought about making a dynamic wallpaper for Mac with day and night versions?

The mood, lighting, all of it...this night version is gorgeous and has the perfect "feel" of nighttime. Love it.

Love at first sight- put this up on my desktop as soon as I saw it. I also think that the night version outdoes the day version for some reason. (Perhaps because in the night version the color contrast is reduced by the moonlight, shifted to all blues, and not as dramatic as the day version?)
