Description
With the calendar turning quickly towards Winter I thought I would create one last
Autumn pic for the year. Did it a little differently this time though. I took advantage of Quixel making their “Megascans” library free for the rest of the year and downloaded some of their photo-scanned 3D assets to see if they can work in my VUE scenes. I hope you enjoy the result. May incorporate more of their library into future projects :-)Thinking about attempting a winter version of this scene so stay tuned!

Fall rendering’s are my favorite and this is a spectacular with all the details. The only quibble I would have is there is so much detail that it overwhelms the eye a bit , but I think that’s more just a matter of taste from my old timer perspective, and not a demerit to the quality of the picture. 🙂
Still a stunning picture that could easily be the end point (Coda) of the forest path from Elegy (2011) that the viewer has stumbled upon during an afternoon hike in the woods.

As someone who loves to hike and whose favourite season is autumn, this one feels like it was made specifically for me. It’s absolutely stunning, Ryan! Thank you so much.

Love it! The rock wall, fallen tree trunk, the dry creek bed, the fall leaves, the forest. Wow! Not only do I want to see the winter version, I am hoping there will be a spring or summer version where the creek bed has some water running thru it like a seasonal creek after its rained.

I wish I could put 100 stars on this one. You outdid yourself on this one. I looks so realistic. I love the rocks, the trees, the leaves, it looks so amazing!!! Great job Ryan!!! I think a Winter version of this scene would be fantastic. Maybe show all four seasons? :).

Thank you, Ryan.
The title does fit quite well (All I could think of was ‘Child of Deaf Adult’)

Great work! Note on the 4k version the db watermark appears smudged.

This is beautiful!
(one question – why Coda?)

The “coda” is the closing section of a musical piece. This shows the final part of Autumn before Winter so I thought the title fit.

I love this. It looks like a real place you could stumble across in the woods – completely wild and untouched.
