I created this day version of “Pinnacle” first but decided I wanted everyone’s initial glimpse of this scene to be a night version. It seemed more fitting with Halloween coming up. Now that the spooky season is behind us I feel more comfortable sharing a sunny, happy scene with you all 😊

I hope you enjoy it. Which version do you prefer??

Living in the flattest part of the US has given me an endless fascination with mountains.   They are almost mystical to me.   Here I’ve used Gaea and VUE to create a restful mountain lake.   The foreground is almost a silhouette but it all will be revealed when the sun fully rises.

I initially created a day version but have decided to create and share the night version first. I hope you enjoy it!

With Spooky Season in full swing I thought it time to add something new to my Halloween gallery. This year I’ve chosen to revisit one of my favorite early renders, “City of the Dead” from 2000, which I originally created using World Builder.

The original was more of a tight shot of the cemetery but for this version I wanted to create a more expansive environment using VUE.

I hope you enjoy it and have a safe and happy Halloween!!

Before moving on I wanted to do one more version of my “Lakeside” scene. I considered a nighttime version but decided instead to do one set during a misty morning. I may yet try a moonlit version though 🙂

I hope you enjoy it and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!

Taking a little break from the Autumn themes here. This one started out as a landscape doodle on my Shadowfax workstation while “Connections” rendered on Rochallor. As the days passed it become quite a bit more complex (as my projects usually do). I hope you enjoy it!
