With Spring finally trying to arrive (in my neck of the woods anyway) I wanted to do something that felt warm and featured flowers. I also wanted to continue my theme of more minimal renders (a la “Shoreline“) because I do feel they make better wallpapers.
I strongly considered adding a figure to this scene but decided against it in the end to keep the scene uncluttered, simple, and (hopefully) inviting.
Let me know what you think!

Here’s a night version of “After The Rain“. I fear multiscreen users are going to feel a bit left out on this one because much of the sky is lost in that version. Of course, the sky was never supposed to be the focus of this scene but I’m always looking to put something there…

Did a little more work on my desert scene. I discovered I liked the multiscreen version of “After the Rain” more than the single-screen so I tried to bring those qualities to this new version. Since the new framing showed considerably more of the sky I added a receding storm cloud to bring the whole theme together.

I was a bit under the weather last week so that slowed things down a bit on my end. Started feeling better over the weekend and created this desert scene to test some of the features in the latest version of Gaea.
The wet sand is something new I’m trying 🙂
I hope you enjoy it!!

Quite a few folks requested a moonlit version of “Shoreline” and I am all too happy to oblige. Again, I didn’t try to do too much with this one. Sometimes less is more. I hope you enjoy it!!
