As some of you know Santa Claus brought me an Oculus Rift System for Christmas (I was a good boy last year). By far my favorite application for it so far is the VR sculpting program called Oculus Medium. I've been playing with it for the past few months and have used some bits of pieces of geometry in my renders so far. This piece is my first where all of the geometry (except the water plane) was modeled using Medium. I expect it to be a major part of my toolbox going forward.

Great question. No, the image I have available for download will only allow you to look around in a 360 degree arc and see the image in "3D". It won't allow allow you to move around within it. I would have to use different tech to build something like that.

"Can I view this in VR?"
I am new to VR but fascinated by the possibilities. Always curious how some of the real pictures get taken so that the viewer can move around.

Will this render let me see it in a VR viewer and move around it, get closer, etc? Or is it a static image.

I like the underwater rock formations. It makes me think of views of underwater footage with shipwrecks and such. I haven't seen any wallpapers with ships ina while and was always hoping you'd do another sometime. Maybe you could make a shipwreck scene and use the rocks there.

Some people like the nature scenes, some like the abstracts. Interesting mix!
