This one is an update to Relics from 2000. Rather than show the old guns themselves, however, I wanted to depict nature reclaiming them from a different perspective (looking down the barrel). I'm sort of taking this theme to the next level...

Y2K version: Those were guns...? I'd thought they were old monster utility hookups of some kind... Call me Captain Oblivious! >({|:#)

I love the motif of nature growing from the entropy of artifice. This one in particular has a very The Last Of Us or Portal vibe.

Technically well done, but the rifling seems to flare at the corners of the image. I'm sure that's just an optical illusion created by trying to put a round image in a square frame. Perhaps you could pull the image back slightly, so the end of the barrel is visible (?) That would also make clearer what exactly is shown. My first thought when I looked at it was that it was some missile silo or a weird mass accelerator... then I remembered the subject of the original and figured that must be the rifling.

Now that's excellent with the colours and the "WTF is down there...?"
