I was hoping to post this about a week before Christmas, but some last minute changes (light color, added mist on the water) led me to render it one more time. I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful Holiday!!

The best christmas tree ever
Jenanne [liferplus]
This is one of my Christmas favorites, too. Beautiful!
Tom [basicmember]
One of my all time favorites. Using it instead of “O Night Divine” Looks more realistic.

Howdy Ryan _ a stunning creation that captures the essence and beauty of the season. The 3D angle and light composition and depth draw one’s eye to the center, the focal point ‘the blue lit tree.’
Kevin [liferplus]
This looks fabulous on an iPhone 6+ lock screen. The colors pop and it almost glows.
Thinkcat [lifer]
I wish for a pickle jar version with the lights turned off. I mean, just a nighttime forest landscape so that the trees on the background would not be any lighter or darker. I always prefer peaceful wallpapers with preferably a single color and not too sharp variations in brightness.

This is one of the few in a long run where the new love of hyper grain/sharpness has been toned down. I like this one a lot and I hope it’s a sign of things to come.

since I have found Digital Blasphemy years before, bluexmas was always my christmas favourite. But this one could be my new christmas favourite. Thank you for your outstanding work all the years.

Make the water frozen… glare ice with maybe some snow near the shore.

Yay, multiscreens! I understand the render time, but was afraid you simply wouldn’t do the multiscreens because of it. Thanks so much!
Mark [sponsormember]
Yes, thank you Ryan! We’re still within the 12 days of Christmas, so still quite appropriate and has been applied to my desktop. Lots of positive comments from friends and family about this one.
Brett [nonmonthly]
Big thank you Ryan 🙂 the multiscreens are just in time 🙂
Ryan
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to post the multiscreen versions sooner. The single-screen was barely ready by Christmas eve and if I had rendered the multiscreen version first neither would have been ready by Christmas.I started the multiscreen version rendering as soon as I posted the single but then we flew out of Illinois for Florida on Christmas day. The render was finished when I returned home last evening and it is up in the gallery this morning. Better late than never?

Mitymous [lifer]
BEAUTIFUL! Wow, Ryan, this is stunning. Merry Christmas!
Jenanne [liferplus]
What a wonderful Christmas present for all your fans. I love the predecessors of this render: Blue Christmas in 1999 and 2002, Season of Light in 2005, and Yuletide in 2000 and 2007. And now this spectacular photorealistic work of art. Bravo! Great way to end the year!
Mark artman [lifer]
Ryan, I’ve been a lifetime member for about 9 years, now, so I’m very familiar with your db library. I must say, this could be your greatest Christmas picture to date. It’s absolutely perfect.
David [lifer]
Beautiful, multiscreen asap please!
Zach [lifer]
Man, this is outstanding! I’m hoping that the multiscreen renders come soon. Right now I’m using “Beneath” to get my winter feel, and keep the colours that I love.
OpelCarl [nonmonthly]
This is the Best Christmas Wallpaper in the Gallery. It Looks so real like a real Picture.
Merry Christmas from Germany and a happy New Year.
Nadine [lifer]
Love the re-do! Is it not available in 3840×1080 like others are?
Happy holidays to you and your beautiful family, Ryan!
George [nonmonthly]
My favorite color! 🙂 I love the fresh reboot, Ryan. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Brandi U. [liferplus]
Beautiful! Might just replace “Yuletide 2007” as my fave.
Mitch [nonmonthly]
Great picture! Keep up the good work. Hoping to see dual screen versions soon!
Dan [lifer]
Lovely, nicely balanced, but it would look even better with a simple white star at the top, right now it looks like it’s missing something.
Mason [nonmonthly]
Blue is so great. Love the blue in this scene. The mist looming in the trees is also very nice.
WiDoW [plusmember]
The enveloping fog in the background is perfect for the bizaar weather we are having this winter. (Am in Maine with NO snow!) This image will forever remind me of the winter of 2015. Ever so fitting! Thank you Ryan!
RDL [lifer]
That’s actually the version I was using this year. I think it’s time for a change. Nice work!
Marko [basicmember]
Looking good

BLUE=AWESOME. That’s all.
DaveShaw [basicmember]
Nice, instantly reminded me of Blue Christmas from 2002 (13 years ago!!).
Michael [lifer]
Would not be Christmas without one of your blue Christmas trees.
