Description
Gaea is a lot like Plant Factory for terrains. It’s a powerful, deep program that I’ve only barely started to learn. I hope you don’t mind seeing more experiments like this as I teach myself the ropes. If the title sounds familiar please see this Bryce render from 20 years ago 🙂

One word review title says it all.

That is amazingly gorgeous. If that is an experiment, then please keep experimenting.

No kidding, this could seriously pass for Erebor. Nice one, Ryan. Also, I thought of The Hobbit BEFORE I saw Matt K’s review.

I don’t often give 10’s, this is really good stuff and I always look forward to your planetscape and landscape pieces. This is spot on and my critical eye can’t find a thing wrong here…

This is looking interesting, keep playing !

Awesome Ryan, it has been a great set of recent renders. As the title says, this reminds me of my local volcano (well within 200km of me), which has a lake very close to it.

This is really nice. I find Mountains so majestic so this one just fits the bill perfectly. Feel free to continue to show us all your experiments :-).

This looks great. I’m a huge fan of mountain landscapes. I look forward to seeing what further experimentation with this tool brings.

Sweeping landscapes like this are my favorites. A daytime version with more blues and greens would be perfect

Now, That! is an amazing render. My whole childhood was in the NH white mountains especially, in winter on hunting trips. This reminds me of home…
Mark [liferplus]
this one is perfect, Ryan

Specifically the 1080×1920 version could use re-centering to include the snow cap, itself, especially considering the title!
Nathan Zachary [lifer]
Very cool experiment, Ryan! The contrast is a bit low for my preference, so I think it would be neat to see it with a bit more dramatic of a difference between the darkest dark and the brightest white. Thought-provoking landscape, though!
