Description
While creating “Tropical Moon of Amatheia” I stumbled upon a technique for generating interesting cloud shapes in VUE. I didn’t want the clouds to be the main focus in that project though so I set the technique aside for the moment.
With this scene I’m trying to more fully explore the possiblities.
Let me know what you think. Dual and triple-screen versions still rendering on Shadowfax.

Love both versions of this, the clouds and lighting are awesome and very beautiful, this to me is very cool planet scape, a water world dotted with big and small islands, a moon if you will, around a exoplanet

Reminds me a LOT of the cover art for The Way of Kings in Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archives! Reminiscent of the High Storm forming up…
LOVE IT!!!

I like the clouds and the setting. The clouds do make it justice and got perfectly with the setup. Great work!!

I love your work and have for 20 years. But this one takes my breath away. Definitely one of my favorites!

Love it! ‘Yes please!!’ to keep exploring the possibilities! Would LOVE to see the Blender nebulae in the night version! Love it and can’t wait to see how it evolves!

Once I saw the single-screen version of this one posted yesterday, I felt like I was checking the site every 20 minutes for the multi-screen renders. Now that they are here, and I have it as my wallpaper, I must agree with Eduardo that this is amongst your best so far in 2021!

This is certainly one of my favorite pieces of this year, and that’s saying something as I believe this has been one of your best years so far. The clouds in particular are incredibly detailed and lifelike. Love it and can’t wait for the triple screens so it can adorn my computer and prevent me from working as I keep everything minimized just to gaze at the wallpaper!
