As I am writing this it has been 10 years since I originally posted Cloud Canyon in 2007. Good time to revisit the concept with new technology 🙂

Love the low lying effect of the clouds. Beauty of nature revelaed in the wilds of the canyons.

I really dig this one, wintery daytime master (just like all the rest)!

The valley looks great, but the trees all look flat on the top like they got clipped. Other than that, very nice!

A mostly clear cold day in winter. I like this one

You are very consistent, assuring I always have the best wallpaper available for the last 10 years. Thank You.

Loving it. So crisp and beautiful. Another Ace, Ryan.

As a stand alone piece,it is fantastically done. I can see it as having inspirations from Cloud Canyon. But hey, this is good stuff. Multi screen time!

As a stand-alone render, the new Cloud Canyon is lovely, a terrific addition to the Christmas and winter images and certainly up to your high standards, Ryan. As a remake of the original Cloud Canyon, however, I don’t like it as well as the 2007 version. I think it’s partly because the original wasn’t Earth-bound (it could have been another planet and I imagined it was), while this render is clearly Earth.
Still, I’m enjoying this image in my seasonal lineup, and I hope you’ll consider adding a night or twilight version. That would rock!

I’m more of a mountains, snow, trees sort than a deep woods — this is very much to taste. One quibble: the leaning mountain in the background (just under the moon) is enough to invoke my scientist’s loss of “suspension of disbelief.” Stone doesn’t do tension all that well.

Simply Beautiful, awesome detail, Looks so life like, thanks Ryan

While this is a pretty picture, I must have gotten used to more photo realism in your wallpapers. This screams game to me.

Just beautiful!

Beautiful in so many ways. The trees don’t feel to scale on several peaks, though.

The details in this are amazing!

this one isn’t bad. I can see a few pickle jar possibilities.
