Description

In 2022 I created a special version of “Fluorescence” using the colors of the Ukrainian flag to show my support.   Just recently a member requested that I update my “Cobalt Daisy” with those colors given that the sunflower happens to be the national flower of Ukraine.    I thought it a worthwhile endeavor so I fired up my old copy of Lightwave on my Shadowfax workstation and came up with this new version.

Like the special version of “Fluorescence”, this special version is free to download.

The 21:9 versions are rendered or cropped wrong. They zoomed into the middle

Unfortunately I wasn’t making multiscreen or ultrawide images yet when I first designed this one (back in 2002). The zoomed in camera angle was the best alternative I could come up with when I did the other later versions.

Beautiful! But how about a pickle jar that’s more Cubs colors and less brewers colors!

Absolutely wonderful. I am so glad to have a wallpaper that I find so very timely which is also beautiful enough to stand on its own artistic merits.

I really like the sentiment here (and the colours work well with one another), but this is one of those times where the single-screen is a much nicer perspective than the triple-screen. I do understand it’s a limitation of “camera” position, though. This may be one (like the original), where I simply mirror the image across all three screens.

The zoomed in camera angle is the best alternative I could come up with when I did the other later versions. Sadly it’s just not possible to adapt every 3D scene to look good on multiple monitors. I do try though.
