…I’ve been all winter–any winter; every winter, including some long winters of the mind, since this image was first published. I’ve needed that warmth, that peace, that encouragement, and the imaginary wading and swimming I do in those waters any time of year. I used to explore the underwater bases of rocks like that one… A meaningful scene for me in so many ways; I thank you for bringing me this.
