For the night version I played around with changing the light angle, but I think the scene looks best this way. It wasn’t too difficult to convert the sunlight to moonlight. Moonbeams are almost as much fun to play with as sunbeams 🙂

the pandemic prevented me from going on a long-awaited camping trip in the california mountains, but having this on my desktop is soothing. it’s a little like being back in those giant trees i love so much

been a long time user of your wallpapers but I do agree with another comment that I think adding fireflies to this would make it absolutely perfect!

So peaceful and realistic, fantastic detail and colours, Love this one and the Evening Light both.

Its a beauty as it is but I can’t help but think “Where are the fireflies?” The realism reminds me of an early night scene where the green glow was everywhere!

I new you were going to do an evening version

This is nice but I still prefer the day version. However I agree with Xetal this would be a great one to do a Halloween variation on. 🙂

Utter enchanting Ryan. The hue of the moonlight is intoxicating. My morbid side can’t help but think a body is buried somewhere out there! This is gorgeous well done.

They’re just some trees in a forest but it still looks amazing. Dark, foreboding, eerie. I love it.
