Description
I created this abstract in Plant Factory to learn how to do some things with E-On’s function editor that I could only do in Lightwave before. There’s a lot of power there that I haven’t really tapped yet. Be on the lookout for Pickle Jar and/or alternate versions of this one if I am able to some more interesting techniques. I hope you enjoy it!

I love the textures in this piece. Would be great if there were picklejar versions of other colors!

Awesome render, love the colours and textures are so cool, they make this seem alive. Thanks

This is an eery and dark piece indeed. Reminds me of the Sentinels from the Great Machine War in the moments leading up to the Second Renaissance.
Spectacular job!

Ryan, thanks for adding the missing dual-screen 5K render. However, please note that there’s still an odd problem with this: although the main single-image 2x5K is fine, the pre-split version you supply via the ‘macOS’ link contains a different pair of images! (More like the left and middle thirds of the triple-screen render, I suspect.)

In some spots the texture of the back “stalks” (for lack of a better term) looks almost like charred wood.

I’m a fan of the red-on-black… Interested in what the pickle jar will bring!
Ryan
Sorry about that. Not sure where that dual 5K is going the first time.

NB The dual-screen 5K render is missing againâ¦

A bit disgusting. Sorry, but I don’t really like the more âwormyâ pieces, of which this is oneâ¦

New and different! Particularly like this as my phone background. Oh and by the way, thank you very much for fixing the DB app! Now I can put your latest and greatest on my phone without a big hassle.

I like this one! Very nice!
