Very nice atmosphere.

Wow, this is a very powerful image. The addition of the silhouetted figure in the center back is what makes this image.

i was once in a cafe where we had some blue and red backlights … it looked similar to this … like it

Love this one much. I, too, would appreciate a multi-monitor version (3840×1080 for me). Hope you don’t have to crop much of the picture’s upper region â the light-play is excellent!

I really love your night / dark wallpapers. Your mushrooms are what got me hooked and made me an instant member. I would love to see these as triple wide screen versions — (5760×1200) if you please. 😉 Shoot us an email when/if you do it, I’m certain others would love to have them too.

I have tried rendering the multiscreen quite a few times on a few different machines and for some reason it never renders the trees next to the fire. They were created using The Plant Factory and it seems the program is confused about who created them (IT WAS ME!!). They load as “locked items” and don’t render for some reason 🙁

Beautiful work! I love how the colors flow from the fire, from yellow to orange to almost pink. Is this going to be available in multi-screen any time soon?
MadDogWix [liferplus]
Incredible work! Takes me back to when I was young and would visit the canyons at Lake Powell. Can’t wait for the multi-screen render. Keep it up!
Jen [lifer]
Still hopeful this one and Atoll are in the queue for dual screen versions.

Outstanding

Hi, Great work. Can we have a version with just a small camp fire thing going on rather than the bright light in the middle, with the smoke wafting up past the rock formations, maybe with and without someone sitting there warming their hands.
MJ [lifer]
When I was younger, there was a Girl Scout camp during spring break to the Mojave desert in CA. Campfires were at an area with a big rock that reflected the light very much like this and it warms my heart.

What I would expect of a vision quest, looks like something out of a dream. Don’t change a thing.

You have a gift for helping us remember our belonging to this sacred Planet and who we are in communion with the natural world. In Gratitude, Riverwalker

The 5k Version is fantastic – I like the details around the Fire and the trees.

I’m not sure how I missed the original, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. Both versions are now in my background rotation!

Totally epic… getting versions for my phone and desktop so I can have it everywhere I go.. A night shot was the way to go.
Jeanna [lifer]
This is an awesome picture, thanks
Mick [liferplus]
Can’t wait for the multi screen. Would be cool to see what some phrestoric type cave art would look like with that light…
Jenanne [liferplus]
Yes, the night version does “look nice,” Ryan. 🙂 This one should stay in the gallery, too.
Kathy [lifer]
Wow!! One of your best ever!
RN4500 [lifer]
Outstanding! As soon as I saw it, it caught my eye and I downloaded it. The rendering is powerful. I also downloaded your original Painted Canyon (I’m not sure how I missed it!?).
Ryan
Yes I will be rendering the multiscreen version soon!
Silverwolf [lifer]
Love it. Am I asking too much for the triple-screen version?
Frank [lifer]
Ryan, you were absolutely right!

You never cease to amaze! This so draws one in to explore every crevice. And the new addition out on the point helps to add to the scale. Captivating!
Littlemom [liferplus]
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
Angelique [lifer]
Beautifully done! It looks photographically real. I like when you do night scenery because that is what I prefer to use for wallpaper. It makes it easier to see all the icons on the desktop that way
Doug Wilson [nonmonthly]
I set this as my desktop background as soon as I saw it. This is my favorite “night time” wallpaper you’ve ever done!
betset [lifer]
’nuff said…thanks Ryan!!!
