Continuing my exploration of this particular moon system. I started this out wanting to render the scene “from space” but again got distracted creating a foreground. I hope you don’t mind.

This is an amazingly nice render. Would love to see a floating city in the distance… something like Bespin cloud city or a floating gotham (from your seasonal renders)

I do love your planetscapes – I may have said this before, but it’s no less true. And while “Rare Alignment” does look great, it’s better from the cloudtops.

You would be correct, except in this case the light source is being completely eclipsed by another celestial body 🙂 I need to render a panorama so you can see for yourself…

As I looked at this beautiful picture, it struck me that the lighting in the previous image was wrong (physics-wise). The angle of the light on the planets in the sky should make the “viewing” planet in daylight, not dark. I also love the 8 planets shown in the triple screen renders.
