Description
I’ve been busy lately working on a new sci-fi render on my Shadowfax workstation but when Bucephalus finished rendering the Misty Ridge multiscreen I was able to start another new project in my basement office. For this one I wanted to better learn Plant Factory’s “Material Blending”, whereby it will create a smooth blend between two connected objects. The result is this simple, hopefully striking, organic abstract.

Love the contrast in colors.

I have a 5K 27 inch iMac and I have to say this particular piece is really pretty stunning on a bigger screen. Beautiful work.

Really like both versions here, abstracts have always been my fav. love the detail in both versions here, looks like a very miniature world of fungus, so cool, thanks Ryan. Great Render

I have to say, I *much* prefer the pickle jar version of this image. The black outlines in the main images create an unreal, cartoonish impression. The pickle jar one, to me, looks much more realistic and far better.
I don’t suppose there’s any chance of multi-screen renders of the pickle jar version, is thereâ¦?

Ryan,
This is a fabulous piece and very original. I think you’re branching. I love it. I hope you and yours are well. Kathy & I are well. I still think we should meet.
Be well,
Matthew

Love the semi-human aspect: could be a basis for something more sinister come Halloween…

3440×1440 planned? This makes me think of the Matrix / stalks of growing humans.
