Description
I knew when I created “Descension” that wanted to try a day version but the brown dwarf/gas giant planet didn’t really fit with the mood I wanted for it. Quite a few folks mentioned to me that such a planet would have severe weather and tides, so I decided to add a storm and change the sea level a bit (the beach is new).

this has to be one of my favorites, I love the colors, the depth of the clouds and I can feel the electricity in the lightening. Thank you!!!

I really love the lightning over the water! Great effect 🙂
By the way, for Thanksgiving, anything fall-ish is good could involve wild game, fields of corn or gourds, etc. – just a thought.

I’ve never attempted a Thanksgiving wallpaper. I can’t seem to come up with a theme that doesn’t involve food and I’ve never wanted to render food.

Thank you for staying out of politics. I can, unfortunately, get that almost anywhere else I go, even places that (should) have nothing to do with it.

This is so so good. The foreground is beautiful, and the lightning against the purple, stormy sky is the best! I would have rated this 11 if I could. Thank you!

It’s never too late for a beach render. For those in the Southern Hemisphere it’s late Spring, heading into summer; just the time for the yearly battle between hot and cold fronts, between Fire and Water, that make for thunderstorms. And *this* scene is in space, on a planet that circles something that only almost became a star. Who knows what the rules might be like out there?

This render is pretty but the lightening looks off somehow, and I personally think it’s to late for a beach render, however this said this looks pretty.

It’s peaceful/serene and stormy at the same time. It’s sweet AND salty!

This gets my imagination going!
