I just can’t say enough good things about this one — you’ve really outdone yourself this time, Ryan. The scene is so realistic that I wish I could go and see that gorgeous blue sky, breathe that frigid air, walk among those pines and touch that ice-blue water. It is just a beautiful scene.
luca [lifer]
it s perfect for my winter desktop..thank you!!

This is gorgeous; If only it were real… I’d love to visit it!
Foz [liferplus]
This is really epic – is there any chance of a moonlit or dawn/dusk version?
The amount of bright white makes it a little bright for a background, but I really want to stick to this winter one for a while.

If it’s not a horrible idea, how about a pickle jar version with the recently used gas giant behind the mountains?

makes me want a cup of hot chocolate.
Hans [lifer]
Any ETA yet for the 3440×1440 version?

The clouds and water is amazing. The mountains are all you!
MadDogWix [liferplus]
Absolutely love the beauty of the majestic mountains in the winter! This is a beautiful! So much better than the winter revelations. I hope that you will have some Dual screen renders very soon. Again, just beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful. Dual screen renders coming?

As usual, I love it! I don’t like the winter time much at all, but on my screen its great! Winter minus the cold and fighting my way through the snow makes it so much better!
Chris [lifer]
Good job, Ryan. As always. I’ve been a lifelong member for years and I’m never disappointed.
Hans [lifer]
This one I will use for the winter season as soon as it is available in 3440×1440.

Wonderful artwork – reminds me on the sight I have at home, looking at the Lake of Lucern and mount Pilatus
Susan [nonmonthly]
I feel cold just looking at it. If it wasn’t for the clouds I would think that it was a frosty day – the water looks so calm. I like both this version and your earlier version

Ignore my comment on “Winter Revelation” regarding the missing mountain-top; this render perfectly captures the scene.

Please tell me there is a Facebook cover version and I’m just missing it! This is gorgeous and I love it. And I have a strict policy— Digital Blasphemy only covers on my page. I love how they stir up my friends and even win converts. 🙂

This would be great to have, but I don’t see a download for the Surface Pro 3 in the Mobile/Tablet downloads! (No love for the Surface? LOL) BTW, I am a lifetime member.
Dejer [lifer]
This is a wonderful piece! 9.5/10 only because artwork is never finished.

This is a gorgeous image! The only reason it isn’t my wallpaper yet is because I’m still not ready for winter! LOL I’ll enjoy your Autumn Cliffs a little longer, then this one will be up. 🙂 Thanks for your hard work!

Fantastic picture, eagerly awaiting Dual Screen images ;0)
Doc [lifer]
Yeah !. For someone who’s spent the vast majority of his life in living in ‘less hilly’ and more arid terrain I love pictures like this. I much prefer this to the closeup version. As always, love your work.
Angelique [lifer]
Incredible! It looks like an amazing photograph
Jim [lifer]
Great job, looks so realistic and inviting. Your work continues to inspire me and invokes such a sense of peacefulness in this image. I think the only thing missing is a slight tonal color change in the sky making it slightly brighter and darker throughout the image which would put it over the top. As an amateur photographer myself Ansel Adams is a huge inspiration as I am beginning to start out in landscape photography. HDR photography really provides a way to capture images with the full dynamic range of light and yet you seem to do it so beautifully with your renders. Keep up the great work, looking forward to your next render !
Rainith [lifer]
Are you doing away with the 1280×1024 resolution screens? I know I’m a little behind the times monitor wise, but still, I didn’t think I was more behind the times than 1024×768 people… 🙁

Love the reflection effect.
Your amazing… Great job!
Clayton [lifer]
Looks awesome. Would be in my winter folder right now if it were triple screen!
Ali [lifer]
Can you please add 1440p png?
Thanks
Mark [nonmonthly]
I thought I wasn’t ready for Winter, but a beautiful view such as this tempts me to say “Bring it on!” Nice work Ryan!
Chris Spera [donormemberlifer]
This is great! Looking for Multi-Monitor renders…
Grimgoth [lifer]
It’s gorgeous! Are you working on a dual screen version of this?

Awesome as usual. Really like the depth (3d?) of the water line!
